Fashion Statement

~ Soojung's POV ~

I was nervous. I stared at my self in the mirror. My hair tied to the side, I had a navy blue skirt with a cute bow, and a white almost off-the-shoulder shirt. 

For the first time, I was proud of myself. I wouldn't be known as the weirdo anymore. 

I really wanted to see Chanyeol. I wanted to see his reaction. To see if it was good enough for him. I then scoffed at myself. It's never good enough for him.

"Darling! It's time for school!" Umma called. 

"Coming!" I yelled before putting on my new backpack and walking down the stairs. 

My mom gasped. I quickly turned around. "What what? Is there someone in the house?" I panicked. 

"A-Ani... Yeppuda..." She complimented. I smiled. "You must thank Unnie for doing this." She added. 

I nodded. "Of course. See you later Umma!" I gave her a kiss on the cheek before running out.

By the time I reached the gates, all eyes were on me. It was weird. Girls were smiling at me, boys were smiling at me too. 

Unnie then tackled me into a hug. "Wah~ Jinja yeppuda!" She said. I giggled. 

"My mom said the same too." I replied. Unnie giggled and hugged me again. 

"Maybe Chanyeol will like you now." 

I backed off, bewildered. "I-I don't know what you're talking ab-bout."

She laughed. "Whatever. Let's get to class." 

I rolled my eyes playfully before following close behind. Forgetting all the stares I had gotten.

~ Chanyeol's POV ~

I was the first to walk in class. 

I sat down and rest my head on my hand. What would be my next plan for Soojung to fall in love with me?

Suddenly a guy walked into class and rushed over to me. "Did you see?" He said.

I furrowed my eyebrows and shook my head. 

"Have you seen a girl named Soojung? Dang... If I could I would snatch her and just have her all to myself." He continued.

Now I was confused. A guy, liking Soojung, thinking she's hot? Ridiculous! 

Now everyone was in the classroom, except Soojung. 

"Did you see Soojung? She's so beautiful!"

"Talk about gorgeous!"

"I heard she's the new Queenka!" 

All these talks about her made me a lot more anxious to see her. 

Suddenly the door opened. 

A gasp was heard. "Omo! She's here." I heard a girl say. 

I stood up to look closer. 

My eyes widened. She was... So pretty. Her hair was dyed lighter brown. Kind of auburn. She had bangs.

It was so surprising. Everyone's eyes were on her. 

By the time she passed by me all I could do was say, "G-Good morning Soojung." 

~ Soojung's POV ~

I walked slowly. I didn't want to see Chanyeol. I was scared.

Everyone was talking about how pretty I was. It was really strange. 

I finally reached the class door. I opened it and paused before getting in. 

Shaking my shoulders, I kept my head up in confidence and walked through.

I didn't make eye-contact with him. I was too scared. 

I just walked past a couple of desks until I passed his. 

I swear I had heard, "G-Good morning Soojung." From him. 

I turned around and looked at him in the eye before smiling. "Good morning Chanyeol."
