The First Date

~ Soojung ~

I looked at the vanity, staring at my reflection. 

 I had a floral skirt with a Peterpan collar. 

I had my long hair curled and I twirled around, giggling. 

"Yah." Jaeyoon said, leaning on my bedroom doorway.

I looked at her and pouted. She giggled and walked towards me.

"My oh my, you're so beautiful." Jaeyoon complimented.

"Gomawo Unnie, I would've never gotten this prettier without you..." I thanked.

She smiled warmly. Jaeyoon was like my second mom, better yet... We were sisters.

Suddenly Umma yelled, "Jaeyoon-ah! Your ride is here!" Jaeyoon jumped in delight before grinning.

"Bwoh? You have a date Unnie!?" I pouted. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"It's Baekhyun!" Jaeyoon cheered. I giggled and pushed her softly. 

"Go before he leaves you." Jaeyoon makes a playful dirty face before laughing and waving goodbye.

 "See you at the Carnival!" I heard her yell before walking out the door.

I look out the window and see Baekhyun opening the door for her before jogging to the other side and getting into the driver's seat.

I sigh, I wonder if Chanyeol is like that.

"Darling~! You're date is here!" Umma yelled, just like she did for Jaeyoon. I look at myself one last time before walking down the stairs.

"Omo, yeppeuda!" Umma squeals, unable to control her exciteness.

My face reddens when I see Chanyeol. He looks fancier, he had a better shirt, pants, and shoes.

No matter how casual, he still made me blush.

"A-Annyeonghaseyo..." He greets.

"Omo! Annyeonghaseyo! I finally get to meet the lucky boy!" My mother exclaims as she walks over and doesn't hesitate to pull the boy into a hug.

"U-Umma~!" I whine. "You're embarrassing me~." Umma pulls away and grins.

She walks over to me and whispers, "He's a keeper."

I blush madly. "Well, it was very nice meeting you,-"

"Call me Ommo-nim."

I saw his eyes go wide before blushing. "N-Ne, have a pleasant evening o-ommo-nim." He says before bowing and taking my hand.
