Chapter 20: Back Again

"Noah is telling us about your day yesterday" Eli said, "Sounds as if you had a good last day"

"It was definitely fun" Tayte said,

"Well we thought you'd like to go for brunch and then from there, we'll take you straight to the airport?" Cassie asked,

"Sounds good to me, our flight is 2.45pm"

"That leaves us a good solid couple of hours" Eli said, "Are you all packed?"

"We are all ready to go" I answered, "Noah are you sorted?"

"Angelo's packed for us, so I'm good to go" He answered getting up to hug me. Angelo came down the stairs around 5 minutes later,

"Everything okay?" I asked, he smiled,

"All is well with the world and my mother, who sends her love to the three of you"

"Is she coming up this week?" Noah asked,

"Yes, just for the night"

We then got ourselves into gear, got our bags and did a last sweep of the room to make sure it was tidy and presentable. Before we all left the house, we'd managed to kick Noah and Angelo into the boot of the car, much to Noah's dismay, who kept turning around and mouthing help to the cars behind us.

"Noah seriously stop it, because if the police pull us over you can explain you were only joking" Angelo warned,

"Fine" He smiled, though I knew he was still up to something, so when he held up a piece of paper to the window I couldn't help but laugh, Angelo snatched it away,

"You are in trouble tonight" He said, Noah gulped but he had a massive grin on his face.

He'd written; I've been kidnapped. Help me!

"You are such a trouble maker" I laughed, showing Tayte, who in turned laughed also,

"He is also going to be wishing he'd never done it later" Angelo said, Noah smiled,

"Oh I think I can handle you"

"You don't know what I'm capable of" Angelo grinned,

"Okay I'm scared now, Keane and Tayte will save me" He said, "Right?"

I noticed Eli and Cassie watching us with amusement,

"Your parents are so lucky to have you" Cassie said.

We pulled up into a carpark and the building in front of us read:

DONATELLO'S

"This is the Ninja turtles place?" Noah exclaimed and we all laughed,

"No Noah, I'm afraid not" Cassie chuckled,

"Oh I knew that. I totally knew that," we headed inside. It was warm and welcoming. There were different style sofas littered about the place with mismatching tables,

"This is cute" Tayte said,

"It's a favourite place of ours. All their food is delicious and breakfast, or in our case brunch is extra special" Eli said. Noah went and picked a large oak table with high comfy black sofas,

"The menu is here and there are also specials on the board. If there's something you don't like you can substitute it for something else" Cassie told us as we all looked at the menu.

Brunch Burger: Sausage patty, fried egg, bacon and cheese with a special homemade mayonnaise.

Triple stack pancakes: 3 extra thick and large pancakes served with maple syrup, crispy bacon pieces and strawberries.
