Chapter 20: The Dream

So, the Planeswalkers and I had decided to stay at a cave. With Jace's magic protecting us, we were assured a safe resting place.

All the Planeswalkers were gathered in a small bonfire Chandra had made for warmth.

While Nissa, had created a small bush that carried a variety of berries.

I sat myself away from them.

They all seemed to be having a nice conversation.

Closing my eyes, I slowly drifted off to sleep.

Suddenly, I felt a huge tremor.

I opened my eyes and quickly got up. "Tremor!" I yelled.

Only to find that the bonfire was gone and so were the others.

The tremor started to get worse.

I ran out of the cave only to find a horde of Eldrazi's stampeding to one direction.

Hiding behind the edge of the cave, I took a glance to where they were headed.

The mountains started to crumble and giant tentacles started to come out of it.

My eyes widened as it revealed a giant Eldrazi.

This Eldrazi was bigger than all the others.

"The Savior. Show yourself." The giant Eldrazi said.

The smaller Eldrazi's slowly turned to face me.

"W-Wait, what?" I asked.

One of the Eldrazi's held a tentacle out to me.

I had a bad feeling, but I slowly reached my hand out and held the tentacle.

It led me to the bigger Eldrazi.

The others were making way for me.

Where are the others?

I would look around for them.

The bigger Eldrazi reached for me and picked me up with it's claw like hands.

"You. Savior. Help us." The Eldrazi told me.

"Who are you...?" I asked.

The Eldrazi held me close to it's face. "Ulamog. I am, Ulamog. You are the human. That we can connect with."

I looked at it and closed my eyes.

I thought about the events I had with the Eldrazi's.

Thinking back with Gideon and the first Eldrazi we encountered.

The Eldrazi that had grabbed my ankle screeched.

"Heeeeeelp!" It screeched.

I opened my eyes and looked at Ulamog.

"W-Where are the Planeswalkers?" I asked.

Ulamog slowly put me down. "Wake up."

Ulamog raised it's hand and went for an attack.

My eyes quickly opened and I found myself still in the cave.

The Planeswalkers had already fallen asleep. The Bonfire had died out too.

I looked around.

Sorin and Gideon had fallen asleep back to back near the entrance.

Nissa, Chandra and Kiora were across from me.

"Huh? Where's..." I moved and felt something on me.

A blanket? No.

I looked at what was on me and saw it was Jace's coat.
