Chapter 14: The Beginning

Everyone was running around the school halls. Away from the explosion or running over to see it.

I got separated from my friends and I was looking for them.

But, with all the teachers, creatures and students running around. It was impossible to find them.

"Ooof!" I had bumped into someone during the chaos.

"Hm? You should get out of here." The person I bumped into said.

I looked at the person and saw it was Xenagos.

"W-What's going on?!" I asked.

Xenagos looked around and watched the students scattering around. Screaming.

"Dack!" Xenagos yelled, as he pointed to a direction.

I looked at the direction he pointed at and the ceiling was about to collapse.

"Got it!" Dack raised his hands and placed a barrier there.

"Dack!" I yelled.

Dack glanced at me and walked over to us.

"Why are you still here? Where's your friends?" Dack asked, as he was looking around making sure no one got hurt.

"I lost them." I said.

Ral and Gideon both came running to us.

"We evacuated students from the West and North hall." Ral told the two.

Gideon let out a sigh and then looked at me. "Hm? Why isn't she evacuated? Wait... Is she one of-"

Dack elbowed Gideon on his stomach. "Yes, one of the chosen guild members. YOU KNOW, to go to Orzhov."

What was Gideon going to say.

"Blossom, right? Come on, I'll get you out of here before things get worse." Ral said, as he held his hand out to me.

As I was about to grab his hand, the ground started to shake.

"Waaah!" I grabbed on to Xenagos' arm.

Xenagos held on to me. "We all have to leave."

Everyone nods their head.

All the students were able to get out.

"Come on." Gideon said, as he picked me up and carried me in his arms.

We all headed for the exit, until...

"Help!" Someone yelled.

Everyone stopped and turned back.

"I got this." Dack said.

He started to run to the direction of the voice.

I looked up at and my eyes widened. "D-Dack!" I yelled.

"Huh?" Dack looked up.

The ceiling started to collapse.

As it did, Gideon covered me.

I tried to get a view of Dack in the dust.

I saw a barrier.

"I'll be fine. Get her out of here!" We heard him yell.

We all did what he said and got out of the school.

Gideon put me down and looked around.

There were students crying, freaking out about what just happened.

"Blossom!" Someone hugged me from behind.

It was K.C., she was followed by the others.

"We were worried about you." Yami said.
