We've already done one Ylissian royal, so why not another? Today's topic is Lissa!

Lissa is probably one of the best Healers in my game. Here are her current stats:

Str: 38

Mag: 58 + 5

Skill: 52

Spd: 52

Luck: 57

Def: 39

Res: 51

All stats are maxed out except for Def.

The skills that she has equipped on right now is:

- Limit Breaker: Extends all stat caps by 10

- Healtouch: Adds 5 HP to the amount recovered when healing allies with a staff

- Galeforce: Allows the unit to act again upon defeating a foe. (Once per turn.)

- Tomefaire: Grants Mag +5 if using a tome

- Renewal: Restores 30% HP at the start of each turn

Her other skills are:

- Rally Magic: Use "Rally" to grant Mag +4 to units within three spaces for one turn

- Rally Luck: Use "Rally" to grant Lck +8 to units within three spaces for one turn

- Rally Movement: Use "Rally" to grant Mov +1 to units within three spaces for one turn

- Miracle: Survive lethal attacks if HP > 1. Trigger % = (Lck stat)

- Rally Heart: Use "Rally" to grant +2 all stats/Mov +1 to units within three spaces for one turn

- Bond: Restores 10 HP to allies within three spaces at the start of each turn.

Once again, much of Lissa's skills are from DLC's. Her skills Bond and Rally Heart are skills you can get if you buy the DLC that gets you the Bride class (Smash Brethren 2), and Limit Breaker is a DLC skill from Rogues & Redeemers 3.

Just like the DLCs from before in Chrom's in-game chapter, if you don't have these DLCs, ignore those skills. Though it'd be a disappointment to lose Rally Heart, which combines all of the Rallies, it's not as if Lissa absolutely needs it. Once again, Limit Breaker is what ultimately makes Lissa's stats shoot up. Limit Breaker is an absolute MUST-HAVE, not only on Lissa and Chrom, but on everyone as well, as pushing skill stats to their max is what creates an OP unit.

However, if you don't have those skills, replace the three with Miracle,

When you have time, it would also be a good idea to obtain Renewal for Lissa, since she has almost no other way to get her HP back besides using Vulneraries, Concoctions, Elixers, etc. Having her being able to obtain 30% of her HP back again for the start of every turn can most definitely make up for this. Another way is to get Relief by reclassing her as a Pegasus Knight (restores 20% HP each turn if no units are within three spaces), but it still doesn't beat Renewal.

As for classes, I think the best class for Lissa would be Sage, as her Mag is a spectacular 58, with a +5 bonus! Reclassing her into other classes such as Falcon Knight, Dark Flier, Valkyrie, or a War Cleric would take this down by so much; the Mag is just too hard to pass. Besides, tomes are great weapons, beating Bows, Axes, Swords, and Lances in many ways, especially through range. While you could argue that at least Bows can still do bonus damage to fliers, this can be immediately be replaced by wind tomes such as Rexcalibur, Excalibur, Forseti, Wilderwind, Celica's Gale, etc., since tomes can still counter attack at close range. Because of this, I never put Archers on my main team. Tomes also very effective in that they can do more damage to armored units such as Great Knights.

The only bad thing about Mages is that they often have poor Def (the past FE games were worse). Having all Mages is too unbalanced for me; I feel that FE teams should be composed of a variety of weapons, though I never use Bows.
