Adriana (One month and a bellybutton piercing later)-

December 16:

It's the night of the winter formal.

"I expect her home by 1030 young man." My father says.

"Yes sir." He says shaking my fathers hand.

"Here, if you need me, call me." He tells me handing me two crisp twenties and a brand new cell phone. "My number and your mother's are already in there. You can put whoever's number in there that you want. Unlimited data, and minutes." He says.

"I want a picture please." My mother says picking up her antique Polaroid.

"You two look darling together."

"Be careful, have a safe drive." My father says. "Call me if you need anything." I nod and walk out with him. As soon as we reach the car he was borrowing from his parents due to his lack of four walled vehicular devices I hop in the back seat to change clothes. I'd let him go dress shopping with me, and he wanted me to wear something different than my dress, but since my parents would never let me out of the house in it, we improvised.

"No peaking." I scold before I begin.

"No promises." He says with his warm eyes sparkling and the smirk I've grown to love over the past few months. Until you meet him, you've never known a bad boy. "I've got a hot girl naked in the back seat, and you expect my eyes not to wander down her body?"

"You are so immature." I tell him rolling my eyes.

"You love me." He tells me not missing a beat.

"You're sure about that?" I tease him as he pulls out of the driveway I keep the dress in front of me until I can pull the other dress on.

He begins driving toward the venue and I quickly slip on the other dress. "You're watching the road right?" I test him.

"No cars in sight." He promises as I finish pulling on my other dress. Thankfully I remembered that the dress was strapless so I wore a strapless bra that Rita insisted I keep around. I guess she was right.
