Tris's POV
Tobias and I sit on the couch watching some old black and white film. I'm not all that interested in it, but I act like I am. When Tobias got here, he was acting very strange and nervous.
"Tris's," I hear him say. I turn my head in his direction. "Do you see a future with me?" He asks. His hands are shaking so he places them in mine.
"I've thought about it a couple of times, and yes. I could see us having a future together," I tell him. He sighs and looks into my eyes.
"Will you marry me?" He asks. I'm speechless. Tears well up in my eyes. He takes a chain off from around his neck and takes the ring off of it. "I don't know if it's too early, but all I know is that I can't see myself without you. I want to you to be my wife and talk to me about how you're feeling. I want to wake up every morning next to you, and sleep next to you every night. Your mine."
By now I'm crying. "Yes," I choke out. He doesn't seem to register it. "Yes, Tobias. I will marry you," I tell him. He smiles and slips the. Small diamond ring onto my left ring finger. Thank God it's not flashy.
"I love you so much," he says. I lean and kiss him. I'm going to be his wife. I've never been this happy in my life. I'm ecstatic.
"I love you too, " I reply. He leans in and presses our lips together. I'm going to be Mrs. Eaton.
