‘’Where are you?’’ He asked in a rushed urgent tone, I exchanged a look with Rhodes.

‘’Um at home, Rhodes with me as well, we were just coming at the hospital.’’ I told him,

‘’Good for her, she’s a heavy sleeper.’’ Lana said again,

‘’No! No! no! Don’t come here.’’ Lars said to me with desperation lacing his tone.

‘’Why? Tell me what’s wrong?’’ My heart went the panic state and I held the phone more tightly in my hand, incase I would drop it.

I heard him take a deep breathe before speaking, this time he spoke slowly and more carefully, ‘’Violet remember I never got the whole account of what happened in third round?’’

‘’Why are you getting to that again?’’ I demanded,

‘’Just listen to me, I met Indigo at morning and she told me the while thing. It seems like you and everyone else think you told them which song we were to play in that bar where Oliver called you but the truth is…I told Brooke the name of our song days before your bar incident.’’

Every thing sunk in – it was too sudden for me to realize his words and my first reaction was to gasp and look at Rhodes with my eyes wide, his expression mimicked mine when he grabbed the phone from my hand,

‘’You mean to stay you told them-‘’

‘’It’s not time for that Sullivan. The point here that Melissa didn’t do it all because she wanted to win. Of course that was the reason but she also wanted to create misunderstandings between Violet and Oliver.’’

‘I wished you had trusted me…’’ Oliver’s quite voice filled my ears and there was no denying that I had been made fool for the second time.

Rhodes dropped n my bed, ‘’Seriously this is all too confusing.’’

Lars voice boomed from the other side, ‘’Of course it’s not you idiot Sullivan. They knew the song because of me, but made it look like Violet’s fault, not only that, she was the one who called Violet at bar using Parker’s phone, and the rest was all. Melissa was taking a risk, she might not be sure if Violet’s gonna drink and tell the name or not. You see, for Oliver Violet showing up there was a coincidence, for Melissa it was a chance to destroy things between them.’’

I raked my hand through my hair and my heart pounded in my chest. Oliver told me everything, he wanted me to believe him but I denied it because of Melissa. I was a fool and he was right the entire time.

‘’But that risk proved to a chance and she succeed in convincing Violet that Oliver betrayed her.’’ Lars completed his explanations and regret filled my heart. He knew this would happen, he knew I would find the truth sooner of later, that’s why he told me everything before hand. He didn’t want any regrets but now I am consumed by them, I thought bitterly,

‘’It means-‘’ Lars cut me off,

‘’Oliver wasn’t playing with you. Indigo says he was completely serious about you and had feelings for you as well.’’

‘’What am I suppose to do now?” I asked desperately, feeling panic, fear and remorse filling inside me.

Lars didn’t missed a second to answer, ‘’It’s simple isn’t it? Go talk to him now! Before that bitch can do or say anything else, you talk to Oliver.’’

‘’What if he doesn’t listen?’’

‘’It would still be worth it, you know the truth Violet, if you don’t approach him, you’ll regret it later, we all know how much you love him.’’
