'In the same boat.'? I thought. I wanted to ask him but I stood there dumbfounded for so long that I didn't notice he left. There I stood where the girl showed up again and said, "What's your problem, stupid? I was talking to him." Out of all the times I hesitate, I didn't hesitate this time with what I had to say. "Now look here you whore, I don't care if you were talking to him or not. Looks like he didn't care enough to come back for you," I said before I left. I didn't regret what I said. I got home questioning what he meant by 'In the same boat'. I thought about it for hours but hadn't gotten the slightest idea of what he meant. All that I know was that I was confused.
