❝ I sought my soul, but my soul I could not see. I sought my God, but my God eluded me. I sought my brother and I found all three.

No boy would ever love, the way you shower,
There hasn't ever been even half as much a lover,
The talks we had, those moments of childhood,
I wouldn't trade them for anything even if I ever could.

The things you taught me, showed me the world,
Guided me through things that left me troubled,
Those treats you saved for me, sacrificed yours,
Became my knight in shining armor all those years,

Listened to my pointless banters, sometimes till 4 a.m.,
Wiped my tears, stood by me when nobody gave a damn.

It wasn't dad, neither mom, you were my role model,
Walked after your steps with a blindfold on, you were my idol.
Grew up thinking you had all the superpowers,
When the house broke down, me with it, you built my towers.

Then a day came black, you had to disappear,
Can't find you anywhere, where are you big brother?
Do you know how much she worships you, your sister?
Missing you so much, crying those tears that you can't register.

I just miss my brother more than I'll ever admit so I wrote this.
