Phil's Sister

Phone Call

( Dan's POV )
( 2 weeks later )

It's been awhile since we've seen Quinn but she had been skyping and texting us on the daily and we made sure of that - either us texting her or she texting us. Phil's mum had told Phil that Quinn had started eating again ( which was great and made Phil and I has some hope )! 

It had gotten to the point where most nights Phil would just broke down in fear of losing his sister for real, them nights where the worse! 

Today, Phil and I had an idea to go and see her at home. 

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing: Quinn 
Shit! What has happened!? I thought as I answered,
"Dan?" Her voice, shaky and scared,
"What's wrong? What's happened!?" I asked, trying to stay calm but my heart was rapidly beat out my chest
"I need help..." She pause "Like, badly" Her voice was whispered and shy,

"Explain?" I lowered my voice, not wanting to wake Phil up in fear because it was 3:00 AM,
"I think, today is the bad day!" She said, I could hear her thrown.
"What do you mean?" I hoped it's not what I thought!
"I think today, i'm going to be put in hospital again..." She said. It was exactly what I thought! "Dan I don't want to go back!" Her voice suddenly became fearful,
"Quinn, you won't be! You're fine. I mean you're eating again so that's good" I tried trying to make her feel better.
"Dan?" She paused, "I was eating" Her voice was quiet and scared,
"Quinnnnn" I dragged it out,
"Don't be disappointed!" She panicked
"Why would I be? You promised me that you would try to and you have!" I said sounds as happy as I could
"Yeah I know but I've got thinner and Dan I really just want to stop everything!" She said with a strain of seriousness, "I just want to stop hurting people"
"You can't help love Quinn, it's an unstoppable force but it's great sometimes" I was really trying to cheer her up,
"I know Dan but whenever I get it, I let it fall away!" Her voice was even more quiet,
"What are you hiding from me?" I knew it when she was lying.
"Nothing!" Quinn spoke in a defencive way,
"Quinn? You are" I laughed,
"Nope!" She said popping the 'p'
"Quinn! Seriously?"

"Dan, it's nothing"

"HA! " I said a bit too loud, "Knew it!" I laughed,
"Don't worry but place come round today, I think I need you two" She said,
"We are going to don't worry, now you need to sleep" I sighed,
"It's only 4 AM, and i'm not sleepy" She laughed sadly,

"When did you sleep last?" I asked, genuinely.
"2 days ago?" she laughed awkwardly,
"2 days ago?" I said surprised, "Well, just try and sleep" I laughed,
"Okay, thank you Dan" She said, sadly.
"It's alright Quinn!" I said my goodbyes and hung up,

It's so sad to see such a beautiful girl slowly slip away. I just wanted to always have her in my arms.
