Phil's Sister

Graduation

( 4 days after Quinn's Skype chat with Phil )

( Phil's POV )

Today was Quinn's big day. I was so proud that she had finally graduated. I got up early to get ready, I was going to surprise her.

I eat my cereal, had my shower, put my jeans and a shirt on, then did my hair. Her graduation was at 12:00 pm. The time now was 9:00 am. Dan had only just go up.

"Phil? Where are you going?" He said as he sat in his sofa crease and turned his laptop on.
"I'm going to Quinn's graduation, don't worry i'll be home around 5:00" I smiled,
"Okay!" Dan smiled as I got up and put my shoes on,
"See you later Dan, don't forget to edit your new video" I shouted as I walked out the door, I got a taxi to Quinn's university and went to surprise her. I still remember where and what her dorm room number was. 

When I got there, the time was 10:30. I walked to the dorms and knocked on her door,

"Yeah?" It was the first time i had heard her in 2 years,
"You good?" I said, 
"Yeah, come in!" She answered, I opened the door and her mouth dropped.
"Phil!" She shouted. We ran to each other, and hugged. I haven't hugged her in ages. After 5 minuets we left go of each other,
"How are you?" I asked her
"I'm still sexually confused and sad, but i'm excited and nervous for today!" She told me as we sat on her bed.
"Did you tell Fran and Tyler about all this?" I asked,
"No, Phil I can't bring myself to do it" She said, I saw the tears puddling in her eyes, I pulled her into another hug. We had a little catch up chat, like: our jobs now and how they are going, etc...
"Quinn, i'm going to let you get ready" I stood up, scuffed her hair, smiled and walked out to find my seat. 

I saw mum and dad and sat with them, we had a little chat. I think they were shocked that I was here. 
"Quinn Lester, degree in film making and animation." The guy said,
Quinn walked up with the biggest smile on her face, she shock his hand and walked off the stage to join the line of people. She started to search crowd from mum, dad and I; when she did her smile grew and so did ours. It's really nice to see my younger sister be genuinely happy. I just hope she is always happy.

We all had our photos and went home my parent's house,
"Phil, how have you been?" My mum asked as she made us all coffee's and tea's,
"I have good mum" I smiled,
"Any girl in your life yet?" My dad asked, I laughed and shook my head,
"Dad, I'm too busy for a girlfriend. I'm looking out for Dan too often."
"How's Dan doing?" My mum wondered,
"He's okay. He's just Dan, I can't really say much. You know how he is, he hasn't had his existential crisis yet" I smiled,
"What does that mean?" Quinn asked as she sipped her drink,

"See, you need to meet him to understand this stuff!" I joked, "A. existential crisis is when Dan laying of the floor for a few days, pondering about death and the point of living"
"Oh, Why does he do that?" Quinn asked,
"No idea, I think he knows either.." I smiled "But it's Dan, he doesn't know why he does a lot of things"
"Phil, stop trying to play match, she has a girlfriend!" My dad laughed,

"I'm not, I just think her and Dan would be great friends!" Quinn gave me a confused look, so explained myself, "You're both like huge children and you just remind me of him."
"I don't know if that's a good thing or not?" Quinn questioned,
"You choose" I smiled, "Oh Quinn, do you want to come round in a few days for a few nights?" I asked,
"Sure, I meant I see why not. We haven't seen each other for 2 years" Quinn commented.

We had a nice evening, Quinn got a taxi back to her university, and I got one back to my house. 
"Dan, i'm home!" I shouted from the bottom of the stairs.
"Finally! I have waiting to order a pizza with you" He shouted back,
I walked into the room and relaxed on the sofa, Dan was on his laptop; on Tumblr.
"Dan, Quinn is coming round for a few days soon, you too can finally meet!" I told him,
"Why do you always want us to meet?" Dan asked, turning his laptop off,
"You remind me of her and you're both like huge kids!" I smiled
"Good? Or bad?" Dan asked,
"Both I would say"
"Phil, stop trying to get us to fall in love or something" Dan joked,
"Dan, she has a girlfriend. You don't need to worry about the love thing" 
"She's gay?" Dan questioned.
"She doesn't fully know. She had a girlfriend but a crush on her guy friend, and she has had a few boyfriends before" I told him,

"Well good for her, I guess" Dan smiled and ordered our pizzas.
"Oh Dan there is something I should tell you about her" I said, putting my pizza down,
"Go on..." Dan said confused,
"She is super northern" I laughed
"What?" Dan questioned, eating his pizza.
"She has only lived in Manchester"
"So, she is like 2009 Phil?"
"Yeah" I smiled,
"Wow" Dan and I ate our pizzas "It's going to fun, me trying to understand her"
"Don't worry Dan." 

12:00 am - Dan and I went to bed, I was sop excited to see Quinn properly!
