Chapter 13

Chapter 13- good and bad times

We arrived back at Sonic's at light speed. "I beat you"! yelled sonic. "yeah, yeah, yeah". said silver as he put Nyla down. Shadow then put me down. "Guys"! "Your Back"! yelled tails. Everyone came rushing out and hugging us. "Your back and whoa.......". said knuckles starring at me. (I felt uncomfortable). "You've gained quite a bit since I last saw you". "Gee, I wonder why, knuckles". I said being sarcastically mad. Knuckles then blushed. "I am sorry". "I didn't mean......". I then started to smile "knuckles, it's fine". I then saw lily stir. "lily". I said as she opened her eyes. "where am I"? she said SBD noticed sonic was carrying her. "Sonic"! she yelled and jumped out of his arms. She started to run until sonic ran in front of her. "lily, calm down". "no, i didn't want to come back and see you". (quit your lying). She then ran the other way and the others blocked her. "lily......". sonic started. "I can't stop thinking about you and I don't want to make you run away from me anymore". Lily then started to blush. "Lily, I know I hurt you bad, but please accept my apology and me". "I, not only want you in my life, I need you". Lily then started tearing up. "oh sonic". Lily then ran into Sonic's arms and hugged him tight. They then kissed as everyone cheered. "I also have something to say". said silver. he then cleared his throat. "this is Nyla, for those who don't know her". "Nyla agreed to be my girlfriend". Everyone cheered louder than before. "wow, that was quick". I said to myself. (now that's what I call love at first sight). We then all went inside. Scourge's point-of-view: I woke up to see no one around. I remember what happened. Those stupid hedgehogs foiled our plans to take those insecure brats out. "stop blanking out into space and let's get out of here". said striker. We then started to leave until zero heard a cry for help. "Help me"! "Anyone"! Me and striker went to go see what it was. (just out of curoiusity). We then saw something moving, under all the rubble, from the cave. "is someone there"? said the person. Striker then went over to it and lifted up the 10 pound metal piece, and saw a light pink hedgehog, with fair skin, and light green eyes. "please, can you help me'? said the hedgehog, in a sweet, loving voice. "nope". I said walking away. "come on striker". Then striker lifted more stuff off of her and helped her out. "what are you doing"? I asked. He then smirked. "Helping a pretty lady out". The girl then started to blush. "what's your name"? he asked her. "sc-Scarlett". "I'm striker". "nice to meet you". "do you know a place where I can stay"? He then looked at her with sympathy "you don't have a home"? She then looked at the ground. "The cave was my home, I've been living alone my whole life". Striker then took her hand "come on, I know a place". he then started running with her in his hand. "not cool". I said as I ran off behind them. ~5 days later~ Normal point-of-view: "Happy Valentine's Day"! We all yelled as we danced at our Valentine's day party. I was having an awkward time, considering I didn't fit In any of my dresses. I decided to get advice from Amy. I knocked on her door. "come in". she said very depressed. "hey, I need advice". Amy just sat there on her bed lifeless. "hey, what's wrong"? I asked. She then looked at me with hurt eyes. "sonic doesn't love me, and I loved him all my life". "Maybe sonic wasn't the guy for you". I said. "you'll find someone else". Amy then glared at me. "That's easy for you to say, you have someone in your life". She then sighed. I then thought for a moment. "Why don't you dance with shadow". Amy then had wide eyes. "no, no, no". "I couldn't.....". I then smiled. "it's OK". "I give you permission". "that way, you won't be lonely and have no one to talk to". Amy then gave me a hug. "Thank you, Sophie". "just one dance and then I'll be happy and enjoy the party". We then left her room and went to the living room. I started to feel tired (this baby is weighing me down). Someone then covered my eyes. "guess who"? I then smiled. "so nice to see you, knuckles". "Knuckles"? he asked. He then took his hands down and looked at me confused. I started to laugh "I knew that would get you". Shadow then hugged me

"oh Sophie, always a mystery". "i know". I smiled. I then kissed him. he then looked at my belly. "just months away". "I know, I'm so nervous". Shadow then held my hand "don't be nervous, I'll be right by your side when it's time". "Shadow, do you mind to dance with Amy'? He then looked at me funny. "why"? "because she has no one to be with this Valentine's day and is heartbroken". "besides, were only talking about one dance". "aright, if it's that important to you". I then gave him a hug "thanks". Tails then went to the dance floor, with the spot light on him. "OK everyone". "it's time for the special Valentine's day dance". he then played "a thousand years" by Christina Perri. Everyone then went on the dance floor and started dancing with their lover. Amy was sitting down, watching lily and sonic dance. Amy then looked away and saw shadow held out his hand to her. They both went to the dance floor and started dancing. I smiled. (hope she's happy enough to enjoy the rest of the party). Amy kept coming closer and closer to him and they held each other close. (what are they doing?) Shadow then started twirling her around and she hugged him and lifted her leg out. (I'm not jealous, it's just little too much). "OK Amy, I think that's enough". I said going over to them. "just let me dance with him a little more". she said still holding him. I then felt that if I stopped her, she will be miserable. (this is amy were talking about here, I don't think she would do any thing). I then sat back down. Lily and Nyla then saw me and walked over to me "why is amy dancing with your man"? asked Nyla. "Because I wanted to let her have one dance with someone, since she had no Valentine". "well, you shouldn't have done that". said lily. Then the three of us looked at her holding shadow real tight and looked into his eyes. She then hugged his neck and and kissed him, right in front of my eyes. Lily and Nyla's jaws dropped. I stood up. "AMY"! I yelled. She and Shadow stopped and looked at me. Shadow started to blush. Everyone then stopped dancing and looked at us. "HOW COULD YOU"!?!? I then ran upstairs and locked my door.
