Thanks you so much to all that submitted pieces. Every single poem was amazing and it took me over an hour to pick just one winner. Since so many of you submitted I will be giving out 1st (15 votes), 2nd (7 votes), and 3rd (5 votes) places.

To me, night's are the scariest things.
It's a time when you're left alone.
To think.
To dream.
To feel.
Night creeps up on me every time the moon replaces the sun, and I'm filled with dread.
Another night filled with thoughts and nightmares.
I lay in my bed as the stars shine brightly and wage the war in myself. Although nights are terrifying. Making me remember thoughts, memories, emotions, people.
They are also therapy for me.
A time when I can cry all my tears away.
A time when I can brainstorm what I need.
A time to re-think over things in my life.
Nights to me are both sunshine and darkness.
Joy and torture.
Ravenous emotions and calming tides.
The night is more than just a time to sleep.
It's a time to think.
A time to feel.
