Chapter 33

"You can't worry about that Maya. I know we graduate in a few short months but I don't plan on leaving the city. I want to do something with animals but I'm not sure if I want to be a Veterinarian or a Zoologist.  I'm leaning more towards Veterinary because NYU offers courses with that."  

"You're right. We'll figure it out." I said with a smile. 

"Of course and I don't want to be away from you ever so maybe we could get our own place eventually." 

I lifted my head up off his chest and looked at him with a smile, "Really you would want to do that?" 

"Yes. I never want to be away from you again. I love you so much and couldn't bare it. "

"Good because I don't think I'd make it being away from you." I said kissing him softly on the lips. "I love you." 

"I love you too." he said with a smile.  "Maya, can I ask you something?" 

"Of course. You can ask me anything." 

"I know we've only been dating for 6 months now and we are young yet but I feel like I could spend the rest of my life with you. Does that make me crazy?" he asked me. 

"Not at all because I've felt the same exact way. Cory and Topanga have been together since High School. Its not crazy at all." 

"Okay good. I often think of having a family with you someday. That's just how in love I am with you."  he replied and I couldn't help but smile. 

"Well you'll make a great Daddy someday and there is no one else I'd rather have as my baby daddy than you." I said and kissed him. 

He placed his hand on my tummy "Imagine a little baby growing in there created by our love." he said and I almost teared up. 

"Someday we'll have our own baby Huckleberry." I said and he kissed me. 

Lucas began slowly kissing on my neck and I felt his hand go to my thigh as his mouth made its way to my ear. I could feel my body react to his touch and he looked back up at me with a smile before kissing me again. I placed my fingers in his hair pulling him closer to me and deepened the kiss with him. I loved tender moments like this with me and Lucas.  Later on we finally got out of bed and had some breakfast. I cleaned up the kitchen and loaded the dishwasher while watched some TV. After I got my shower I joined him on the couch. I knew Mom would be coming home later on the day so my goal was to spend as much time with Lucas as I could. We never really get alone time like this. I think he had a good point about us getting our own place. I actually decided to be spontaneous and look at apartments here in the city. 

"You know I could wake up and do this everyday." Lucas said causing me to look up from my laptop. 

"Me too. I actually have been looking at different apartments here in the city. 

"You find anything good?" he asked. 

"I found a couple good ones. " I said with a smile.

"Bookmark them. Maybe we could get our own place this summer." he said and I looked at up. 

"Really?" I said to him/

"Yeah, why not? Like you said we'll be graduating soon and we don't want to be a part." he said and I grinned at him. 

"You know how happy this makes me?" I replied. 

"Yes, I can tell by the smile on your beautiful face." he said with a grin. 

I placed my laptop on the table in front of me and crawled over to Lucas putting my arms around him. "I love you to the moon and back." 

"I love you too." he said and then kissed me softly. 

Lucas and I spent the rest of the day cuddling and watching movies on the couch. We even took a nap together. He was right I could do this everyday. Summer couldn't come soon enough. In 3 more months we would be graduated and that's when Lucas and I would start a brand new life together. I couldn't be happier to have such an amazing boyfriend.
