Chapter 9

Rinig ko ang pagpito ng coach namin, senyales na time out na. We quickly rushed into the bleachers para kunin ang aming mga water bottles at uminom ng tubig. Coach gathered us after that and told us to expect harder training starting tomorrow, Yesha sat beside me with her water bottle. Yup, I remember her and I didn't know she joined the volleyball intrams too. But I didn't mind, she seemed okay naman at hindi naman nya ako inaaway although her eyerolls everytime are getting noticeable na. I focus on a lot of things kaya hindi ko na inisip ang kabitteran na meron sya. Coach dismissed us and I walked towards the bleachers to get my bag and to change my clothes when Kei entered the gym, nagsi tinginan lahat ng babae sa gym sakanya at kanya kanyang labas ng cellphone para picture-ran sya. Napaka famous!

He's wearing an adidas cotton white shirt with three stripes on the shoulder and navy blue shorts from under armour with I believe a pair of sparring shoes and he's carrying his duffle bag. Nakita kong lumingon sakanya si Yesha nung makita nya ako at kumaway. She just rolled her eyes though and proceeded to put her things inside her bag. I removed my headband at inayos ang ponytail ko nung makalapit si Kei saakin. Nagpaalam ako sakanyang magbibihis lang at maghihilamos sa cr ng gym, tumango naman sya and even greeted my coach and they talked for a bit. Nagpalit ako ng tshirt at sports bra, I wore a pink short sleeved nike shirt and puma downtown shorts. Yun ang sinuot ko dahil mas maluwag yun kesa sa volleyball shorts ko.

Lumabas ako and saw Kei sitting on the bleachers with Sojiro, I didn't know he was here. He's also wearing a sportswear from adidas and he's carrying a duffel bag. Di ko maisip kung anong sports nya,

Kei saw me as soon as I walked out of the comfort room at kaagad silang lumapit dalawa saakin,

"Hi Soji" I greeted, napapadalas na kasi ang pagkikita namin. He smiled showing his perfect teeth, I also noticed that his arm tattoo is getting detailed.

"Uy" is the only thing he said at nakipag apir saakin. "May sinalihan ka pala?" I asked,

"Oo, basketball. Nood kayo, ah" He answered, gumapang naman ang kamay ni Kei sa balikat ko at tinignan ang pinsan. Tumawa naman si Sojiro sa ginawa ni Kei.

"So, I'll call you when I get Ysabelle's permission" Kei said, as if shooing away his cousin. Napaka sama!

Sojiro chuckled and stepped away, "Okay! I need your response within this week. See you!" He said before leaving. Naglakad din kami ni Kei palabas ng gym at palabas ng school,

"Ano yun?" I asked,

"Birthday nya next week, he wants us to be there" He said and opened the passenger car door. I entered and closed the door, I watched him go around and then enter the driver's seat.

"Ah, shit" I groaned and held my stomach. "Problema?" He asked and looked at me as he drove,

"Sumakit puson ko, e" I said and massaged it. Bearable pa naman yung sakit kaso baka madatnan nako anytime now,

"Do you want to eat something or do you want something cold?" He asked, he looked worried dahil papalit palit sya ng tingin saakin at sa daan.

"Hmm" I thought, parang gusto kong kumain ng sisig "Sisig? 1 week nako nagcecrave eh," I said and he immediately took a U-turn at dumaan kami sa isang kanto malapit sa school. He turned off the engine when we got to a sisigan place, madaming tao pero madami pa namang bakanteng tables.

As usual, I told him my order and then I looked for a table. As soon as I sat down, a guy approached me. He sat in front of me at ngumiti ng malapad, he's wearing a polo shirt and black jeans.

"Hi, I'm Marky. Can I ask for your number?" Nagulat ako sa pagiging straightforward nya. He's so moreno and sobrang tangos ng ilong nya. Hindi kaagad ako nakapagrespond agad sa sinabi nya kaya inabot nya sakin yung cellphone nya, I was so clueless but accepted it anyway
