When I woke up the pain was unbearable, my gray eyes ringed in red, I looked around. It was a fairly simply room, with white walls and a few pictures of creatures and men standing beside them, happy. Truth be told the room smelled like a doctors office. Professional.

I sat up, and a pain ripped throughout my body, I screamed only for it to come out as a croak. “Don't push it.” A deep handsome voice said evenly. I laid down chest heaving. I tried to ignore the pain and stand but when I did, my legs folded underneath me. I saw a couch and tried to crawl over to it, my legs were like Jello but I managed, when I was lifting my body into the couch I noticed a...tail?! I sat and held it, it was blue-Grey, and it was, well-soft.

When I looked up I saw a man standing before me, he was handsome but, not Johnathan handsome. He was tall about 6'5 inch, shoulder length dark brown hair, and crystal blue eyes. He was wearing a black suit and very nice shoes, his demeanor was confident and knowing, if anything he was scary, like he walked right out of Men in Black I and II. “Who are you?” I asked unsure of myself, or if he might try anything.

“Well, now. I just wanted to welcome you too Camp Shaping. Here you will learn to use and control your powers. And you've shown aspects of Bat, and Wolf. Clearly a first. And I am your trainer.” I think I am already starting to like this camp...I thought happily.

“Well then in that case...I suppose you should know my name...?” I said raising my eyebrows, and cocking my head to the left.

“I already know your name though. Rosemarie Anne Louise. You must come to trust me. And I must come to trust you. Now come.”

How was I suppose to trust him if he doesn't have a name? Part of me told myself to wait and he'll tell me.I stood up. Waving my new tail lazily, and following my trainer out the door. “Rose.”

“I'm sorry? What's that suppose to mean?” he asked, confused.

“I hate the name Rosemarie.” I said scornfully. “Everyone calls me Rose. So I expect you to as well.” I finished softly.

“Alright then. Well it is time for dinner.” he said opening the door, like James or John used to.

I hissed the sun stinging my eyes. I collapsed into the plush grass, covering my eyes and letting out a string of swears, aimed for the sun.

“Here, Rose take these. We will head to town tomorrow and get you a pair. Bat specialists have a tendency to have strong hearing and eyes sight. While Wolves have tendencies to have strength and speed. So you to a point are the ultimate hunter. But I must warn you, with my being you trainer you will...have a harder time with other trainees.” he said. I didn't hold his attitude against him. It happens to everyone. I gratefully took the glasses and they made everything dimmer but is was still as bright as daylight.

“if I am to trust then...i would need you name. Correct?” I asked standing and wiping grass from my outfit...which I noticed just now... “UNIFORMS!?!” I yelled, shivering. Wanting to change...and just as I thought it, pain coursed throughout my body and I turned into the creature that I did up front of my father. My wings spread out and my light muscular body lifted in to the air, my nose and jaw stretched out and my tail grew longer...

“Wait.” My trainer yelled up to me, changing into a eagle-like creature I looked as his tanned skin peeled off becoming a sleek white and golden creature, he shot up to me, his crystal blue eyes still the same, as they were before. “Shane. Shane Costner. Everyone calls me. 'Mr. Costner' Don't. Call me Shane. Please.” I nodded.

“Where is everyone?” I asked.

“Eating dinner with their trainer. Which is were you and I should be. That is our cabin.” he pointed to the last cabin to the left.
