Marinette waited outside of the school, rain pouring endlessly. She held her bag in front with a frown. No umbrella and her parents didn't own a car in order to pick her up. The only option the girl had was to wait for it to calm.

A voice tried to speak. "Marinette?"

She turned her head away from it and kept to herself. Adrien frowned with a deflated sigh as he opened his umbrella. His shoulders slumped as he walked to be in front of her, his eyes still lingered on her avoiding eyes. "I am sorry. I really was just trying to remove the chewed gum." She still refused to face him. He huffed. "I'm —just not used to all of this. It's new to me: going to school I mean. I've never been around kids my age, or had any friends. It's something I'm still getting used to."

The girl watched him carefully as he faced her with a cloud-like smile. Her lips tightened with suspicion. He slowly extended his arm that held out his umbrella. His upper lip twitched and showed a bit of his teeth. Marinette froze. Her face began to melt into a smile as she took his offering. A brief moment passed before the umbrella abruptly closed on her face. They both chuckled at the sight.

Adrien waved a hand and began to walk toward his ride. "See you tomorrow... my lady."

She giggled. "Bye, Chat Noir."
