A/N- Mara in MM
Mara P.O.V.
"Get up Mara" My mom says shaking me.
"I'm up" I say standing.
She nods leaving. I go straight to the bathroom taking off my clothes then I hopp into the shower. I take a 45 minute shower. Once im done I get out and dry myself. I spray on body mist and put on some deodorant then I wrap a towel around my body so I can start searching through my closet.
"What should I wear?" I say to myself.
I pull out my long sleeve black button down shirt with my light blue skinny jeans and my black sandles. I take a look in the mirror grabbing my backpack then rushing downstairs.
"Why are you running?" My mom asks confused.
"I dont want to miss the bus" I say getting 3 ensure pluses out the fridge and throwing them into my backpack. Its a weight gain drink..
"Bye mom" I say kissing her cheek.
"By baby" She says waving as I run out the door.
I run to the bus stop just in time. The bus just pulled up. I get on the bus sitting in an empty seat. I put my headphones in and listen to music.
"Boy i'm telling you shawty was thick out of this world!" I hear Daquan yell.
I look up realizing we were at his stop.
"Oh god" I say realizing I sat in the seat across from where he always sits.
"Shawty had an ass that clapped back you feel me?" Daquan says to his friends as he takes his seat across from mine.
I look out the window turning the volume of my music up.
The bus finally pulls up to the school and I wait until Daquan is off the bus before I get up.
"Hey bitch" My bestfriend Cece yells.
She thick as hell. Daquan has tried to get with her so many times but she always turns him down because she knows I like him.
"Wassup hoe?" I say smiling as we hug.
"Girl let me give you the Tea" She says curling her lips.
Oh lord.
"So tell me why Tina was on the bus talking mad shit but when I asked her who she was talking about she said nobody..Bitches always bad until you ask them who they talking bout" Cece tells me laughing.
"Sips Tea" I say shaking my head
"Slowly" Cece says laughing.
We been doing that since forever. One of us says sips tea and the other one says slowly.
"Girl I see you getting thick lowkey" Cece says smacking my butt.
"Bitch stop lying" I say laughing.
"Theres nothing wrong with being skinny boo. Every thick girl needs a pretty and skinny bestfriend" She says taking pics of us.
"I guess" I say smiling for the selfies.
"Wassup bae" Daquan says flirting with Cece.
"Boy if you dont get yo crusty ass away from me" She says curving him.
"You know you want this" He tells her smirking.
"Boy bye" She says as we walk away.
I look down
"Dont worry about that" Cece tells me.
I nod.
"Well I got to go" I say hugging her before walking to my first period.
"Ok class we have a new student named Dylan" The teacher says as some tall brownskin boy walks in wearing all black. Almost every girl in class turns their attention to him. I just look at my phone.
"You'll be sitting next to Mara. Mara raise your hand" The teacher says making my heart stop.
Ugh. I raising my hand nervously as the new boy walks over to me and sits down. I put my hand down.
We look at eachother for a few seconds then I turn my attention back to my phone but I can feel his eyes burning on me.
"Could you please stop staring at me?" I ask looking down. I know he judging my weight lowkey.
He lifts my head up from my chin with his fingers.
"Never look down when you talking to me and my bad I didnt mean to stare" He tells me removing his fingers from my chin.
I nod looking back at my phone.
The teacher starts talking about a bunch of stuff that I'm not listening to.
The bell rings and I leave class. Thank god its Wednesday.
"Bitch!" I yell when I spot Cece.
"What happened?" She asks knowing i'm about to tell her something.
"Theres a cute newboy in my first period. His name is Dylan. He tall brownskin and got on all black" I say looking around for him.
"Thats him at the water fountain." I say calmly pointing at him so he doesnt notice.
"Bitch he fine as fuck" Cece says biting her lip.
"You like him?" I ask raising an eyebrow.
"He fine as fuck of course...Wait you dont like him do you?" She asks.
"No um no" I lie smiling. Theres no way I can like a boy Cece likes. I wouldn't stand a chance look at her body then look at mine. I might as well let her have him and Daquan.
"You sure you don't like him? Cause ill fall back. You know our motto. Chicks before dicks" She says making me laugh.
"Yeah i'm sure" I lie smiling.
"Ok bet" She says walking towards Dylan. I walk the other way.
Dylan P.O.V.
Some girl walks up to me smiling.
"Hey" She says leaning on the wall.
"Wassup" I say not understanding why she's talking to me when I dont know her and i'm really not friendly at all.
"My friend told me that you're new" She says trying to start a conversation.
"And who is your friend?" I ask curiously.
"Her names Mara she said you're in her first period" She tells me.
I start thinking. Mara? Mara?...Oh the pretty girl that asked me to stop staring at her.
"What else did she say about me?" I ask smiling.
"That you were cute as fuck. But she doesnt like you" She tells me killing my vibe.
I nod walking away. I got happy as fuck when I thought Mara liked me. But I guess not. She out of my league anyways to be honest.
