Day 135

Dear Micheal,

You've been gone for two weeks, and the woman hasn't let me inside. The leaves aren't on the trees anymore and its getting cold out here. She's only brought me out two bowls of food and has given me a bowl of food, but its rained a lot, so I'm okay, I guess.

I know she doesn't like me, but I'm being nice, I promise. I don't believe I've done anything wrong, but if I have I'm sorry. I'm just hungry, sir. Please come home soon, she isn't a nice human. I heard her when she brought out my last bowl, she was holding something to her ear and talking. I heard my name.

She was asking about when she could 'take me there'. I don't know what she means. She might be taking me for a walk! I miss my walks, since you've been working so much I haven't been on one. Is it because the last one I ate a bird and got sick?

Is that what I did wrong? I'm sorry sir, I didn't mean it, I promise. I'll make it better if you give me the chance. I don't like it when people aren't happy, I promise I'm a good dog.

Love, Monty.
