Chapter 34

-2 WEEKS LATER-

MICHAELS POV

I sigh as we get off stage, everyone was feeling the buzz of just getting off stage apart from me

I've been feeling like shit all day

"That was amazing!" Calum exclaims

I throw myself down on the sofa in the tour bus with my phone in my hands

"It sure was, British fans are so loud" Luke says popping his ears

"I couldn't hear my drumming over how loud they was" Ashton says laughing

"That is so not true" I say gloomily

"Oh come on Michael! It was a joke, ever since you got something in the post today, you have been acting so down" Luke say nudging my feet for me to move them

I roll my eyes and move them before he sits down

"What did you get in the post today?" Ashton asks

"Doesn't matter" I mumble

"Clearly it does if it is making you act this way, how you was acting on stage was so fake, we know you better than anyone else just tell us what is wrong" Calum says

I groan and get up, I walk towards my bunk and grab the envelope that was stuffed under my pillow

"Do you really want to know what I go in the post today?" I ask as I walk back to the living area of the tour bus

I slide all the papers out the envelope and I throw the empty envelope on the table

"I GOT DIVORCE PAPERS!" I shout

All the boys jaw's drop

"Let me see" Luke says holding his hand out towards me

I shove the papers into his hands and I sit myself down on the sofa

It is silent, whilst Luke looks through the papers

"Wow, she isn't asking for anything really" Luke says

"I know, she isn't asking for money, for stuff, for nothing" I mumble as I look down at the floor

"We all knew this was coming sometime Michael, you and Emily don't even talk anymore, you have no communication at all" Calum says

"I know it's just the fact that whilst we was on tour that we visited Emily's home town and I know for a fact that if we was still 'together' Emily would of gone home for the day or whatever and then come and seen the show" I say with a sigh as I lay back against the sofa

"Oh Michael" Ashton says as he gets up

He walks over to me and gives me a hug

I hug him back

After a minute, I let go

"I think I'm just going to head to bed because it's been a long day" I say picking up my divorce papers and putting them back into the envelope before I go to my bunk

"Night!" I call out to the boys

"Night!" they reply

I strip down to my boxers and I put a tank top on and I slide into my bunk

I look at the envelope before shoving it under my pillow again

Maybe it is time to let go of Emily...

EMILYS POV

I smile as I watch the rain hit the windows in my bedroom

It was always so calming, it gives me time to think
