Something Niall Didn't Except (Sequel To Something One Direction Didn't Expect)

Chapter 30

NIALLS POV

I wake up to an unfamiliar surronding, my eyes gain focus and I see I am in an ambulance

"What's happened?" I ask

"Glad to see your awake Mr Horan, you was in a car crash with Miss Walker" the paramedic said

"How is Emily?" I ask

"They are just getting her out now, Mr Horan you are being taken to hospital now" the paramedic replies

"No I want to see how Emily is" I say struggling to get up

"Mr Horan, we need to get you checked out so please calm down, we will find out how Emily is for you once we are there" the paramedic try's to calm me down

I lay back down and I shut my eyes, I open them to being moved out of the ambulance and into the hospital

"Hello Mr Horan I'm doctor fie, let's have a look at you" the doctor says shining a light in my eyes

"Can you tell me what happened?" He asked

"I pulled out of a car park and I think we was hit something" I say in a confused tone

"Who was you with Mr Horan?" Doctor fie asks

"Emily" I say

"How is she?" I question

"We don't need to worry about that now, let's just sort you out now" he says

"No I have to see her" I say struggling to get out of the nurses grip

"Mr Horan, we need to check you over then I promise we can go and see how Emily is, now does this hurt?" The doctor asks pressing on my ribs

I hiss

"Seems like you've got some bruised ribs or some broken ones we will have to run some tests on it, does anywhere else hurt?" The doctor asks

I shake my head

"Mr Horan we need to know the truth" a nurse says

"Fine my wrist hurts a bit" I sigh

The nurse comes over and turns my wrist a bit

"It's just a sprain doctor" she says and the doctor writes it down on my notes

"Can we go and see Emily now?" I ask

"Yes, of course Mr Horan" the doctor says as the nurses pulls up a wheelchair to take me to her room

I slowly get in careful not to bang my ribs and the nurse pushes me into the intensive care unit

"Why are we going down here?" I ask

"Emily's room is down here" the nurse replies

The nurse wheels me down the hallway a bit more and then stops

"We can't take you in Niall because Emily is being worked on" she says

"Do you know what happened?" I ask

"You was hit by an on coming truck that didn't see you pull out, your car flipped and as Emily was on the side that got hit first the car rolled and it landed on its side and it was the side that Emily was on, they got you out straight away and your not really hurt because the car only roll and you didn't get many serious injuries but Emily she wasn't so lucky" the nurse says

"How badly hurt is she?" I ask

"It's possibly she might not walk again and she is on life support at the minute" she says

"I'll leave you for a minute, to get your head around everything" she continues before the nurse walks away

I feel a tear rolling down my face

It should of been me.....

REANNES POV

"I WANT MUMMY!" Amy screams at me again for the twelfth time

"Mummy should be home soon" I say passing Amy to Louis who was going to distract her

I get my phone out and call Emily's phone, it doesn't ring I get threw to answer phone and I leave another message

"Emily, where are you and Niall? I have rang, his phone five times and I have rang your phone twelve times and both of you are not answering, your daughter won't stop screaming for you, please ring me when you get this" I say

I put my phone back in my pocket and run my hand threw my hair

"Reanne you have to come and see this" I hear Liam say from the kitchen

I quickly walk in and I see everyone around the tv watching the news about a car crash

"One Direction star Niall Horan and his ex-wife Emily was in a serious car crash today, a on-coming truck hit the pop star's car and he was driving out of a car park, Emily and Niall where both later taken to hospital, there has been no updates about Emily as Niall told the press earlier on this evening that no one will be making a comment on Emily's condition as part of her privacy but a source for Niall said that he has no serious injuries and will be on the mend soon, by the look of the car it looks very serious, Niall was driving and Emily was in the passenger seat and Emily's side of the car took the full impact, we send our sympathy to Emily, her family and Niall, we will bring you updates of this story as we get them" the news reporter says

I stand there not knowing what to say

"We need to get to the hospital" Nicole speaks up

"We don't even know which one?" Harry says, Louis hits him on the top of the head

"Owwww what was that for?" Harry asks

"What's the closes one to the dance studio?" Louis asks

"London General?" Harry says like a question

"Let's go then" I say

We all grab whatever we need and get into the car that carried all of us, Louis was in the front with Liam

I sigh, there seems to be a lot of traffic at night

Once we finally get to the hospital, we all put our hoods up

"We need to not get spotted going into the hospital" Liam say and everyone nod

We all get out of the car and we swiftly get past the paps and go into the hospital

I go up to the reception

"Where here to see Niall Horan and Emily Walker?" I say

"No one is allowed to see Emily at the minute and I believe that Niall is sat outside Emily's room so its room 451" The receptionist says to me

I thank her and I guide the boys to the room as we walk down the hall way of intensive care I see Niall sat in a wheelchair alone outside

"Oh my god Niall are you ok?" I ask going up to him

Niall turns his head to face us and I see tears rolling down his face

"It's all my fault Emily might not walk again" he says crying into his hands

I pull him into a hug and all the rest of the group mold into a group hug

"Ow watch my ribs" Niall sort of laughs

"We will get threw this together" Liam says putting his hand on Niall's shoulder and looking around the circle and then we all look at Emily who is laying lifeless on her hospital bed
