B.A.P was a six member boy band, debuting in January 2012. The girls were slowly placed in the group. Nic was placed in, during 'No mercy' as the rapper with Yongguk and Zelo, the twins in 'Crash' as the vocalists. The triplets, in 'One shot', which is also the first song they did together a full group, of twelve members, six boys and six girls.

All six girls were trained for either dancing or singing. None were trained for rap. Because she has the longest training period, Nic was rushed to be trained as a rapper for two years.

Nic is known as 'Triple threat' with the fact that she can sing, dance and rap, all really well.
