Seth grinned in relief. Potions, Dark Sorcery, and Art? She was practically made for those!
*Some minutes later*
After all the schedules had been handed out, everyone got out of their seats and rushed to the eating hall.
Unsure of what she should do, Lux thought fast and quickly grabbed Seth, who happened to be standing a few feet away.
"Let's go!" she shouted over the hustle of students.
- Vivian, Eating Hall -
Vivian wandered into the eating hall, unsure of where she should go, until she noticed that each type of species sat in their x-shaped tables, each in their own areas.
Scanning the area for elves, she noticed a blonde girl in black talking to...a witch? Strange...anyways, she spotted that Riyeko guy from the train, sitting at a table that seemed to have all the different species sitting at it.
The elf area was decorated with fancy flowers and little pillars surrounding the table, and that was nice, but Vivian felt the urge to sit with Riyeko, since he looked a little lonely.
Food appeared, and everyone carefully dropped things onto their plates, familiar with all this.
Vivian sat down in the empty chair next to Riyeko, and starting piling food up onto her plate.
Riyeko looked at her in surprise. "Oh, hey, Vivian!" he said, smiling kindly at her.
"Hey," she replied, smiling back, "since you're the only person I've talked to, I thought we could...sit together."
He looked a little surprised. "Sure," he said happily, "not like I have anyone else to talk to..."
"So, what do you do in the summer?" she asked, trying to start up a conversation instead of having heavy silence.
"I hang out with my dad and sister most of the time,"
- Seth -
After dinner, the students all had to pick their dorms and who they wanted to stay with.
"Please?" Lux begged for what seemed like the 1000th time.
Probably 'cause it was.
"I'll clean and everything! PLEASE, Seth, I don't want to be stuck with some smelly dude!"
Seth pursed her lips at Lux. "Fine," she said irritably, "but don't you DARE mention this to anyone."
"Ugh, fine," Lux stuck her tongue out, "whatever you say, Your Highness."
"F*ck you."
- Vivian, Assembly Hall -
It was getting late, and only a few lingering students, Vivian, and Riyeko remained.
"I seriously have no idea who I'm supposed to stay with," Vivian muttered, "great. Just perfect."
Riyeko rocked nervously on the back of his heels.
"Oh...well...My mom works in the school council," he said, trying to continue, but before he could, Vivian interrupted.
"That's great and all, but I need to find a partner right now, so, yeah."
"Yes, so I stay at the school in summer, and I have a bigger dorm and my own pool, and I was wondering.."
Vivian huffed. "Sorry if I'm being rude, but can you just get to the point already?"
"I was wondering if you'd like to stay with me?" Riyeko said quickly, not wanting to get cut off again.
"Oh," Vivian said, seeming to deflate like a balloon, "we don't really know each other that well, but..."
"I-I can get my mom to let you switch dorms if you don't want to stay with me?"
She sighed, smiling, and looking into his eyes, she replied, "Sure,"
- Seth, Lux, Dorm -
The two girls stood in front of the white door that had faint gold creeping down it. Seth, not wanting to waste any time, went straight ahead and opened the door.
There was a little living room with cream walls, a few armchairs, and a table. Lux and Seth looked around in wonder, spotting a few doors on the side.
Seth went ahead and opened one of the doors, expecting a bathroom but getting a bedroom.
It was a nice plain room, with a bed, desk, mirror, window, and a few suitcases lying on the ground, which happened to belong to Seth.
"Well, this room is quite boring," Seth muttered to herself, "why don't I change it up a little?"
Waving her hand, the plain white walls became pitch black, with a hint of violet in the corners.
"Much better.."
"HEY, SETH! COME HERE, THERE'S CHOCOLATE IN THE KITCHEN!"
