"What do we have here?"

His voice drew me out of sleep, and I woke abruptly. For the briefest moment, I had no memory of anything other than who I was. It was a peaceful state: quiet, and normal. But then the blaring lamp light in my face became less oppressive and I realized I was tied down; I couldn't move my arms or my legs. Wait...I was in my office? Even though I could only look upwards, I recognized my celling and some of my posters left on the top of the walls. Then I began to realize what was happening: I was strapped to my desk, and I could feel the cold metal against my skin. Someone had removed my lab coat and shoes and I was left with just my blouse and skirt. I groaned in discomfort, the nausea I had felt before passing out was still in my stomach...

Wait.

Fuck.

Nausea, blurred vision, confusion, blacking out: I had been drugged. I put the pieces together in my head, the coffee was spiked. But who would do that? Why? Nothing made sense and I needed to hear Joker's voice again or I was going to lose it. I cried out,

"Mr. J?"

"Mm, someone's awake!"

I struggled to pick my head up and stare in his direction, but when I saw my surroundings in front of me, I shuddered in disbelief.

The grey walls of my office were covered in blood and the ceiling lights were shattered and flickering on and off. The door was wide open, and bullet marks littered the steel and the walls around it. Outside my office, I saw two bodies on the floor, lifeless. It was so dark and bloody, god why was there so much blood? I turned to the right of me to see Joker, shirtless apart from his Arkham sweatpants, and he had an electric shock therapy set in his hands. I could feel the power in his voice,

"Coffee give you a bad buzz?"

He laughed, his hands were waving the electro-shock magnets around in an eerie fashion, but I wasn't scared. I was mesmerized at his tattooed chest and his wild eyes and I wanted to just stare at him and study his body and mind forever. I whispered in a mousey voice,

"What's happening?"

He made his way over to me and plugged in the shock set to an outlet on the wall,

"Now it's my turn to prove how I feel about you, Harleen."

I smiled, but it quickly faded once I realized he was rubbing the blue safety gel for the electro magnets on my temples. The cream felt icy cold and so was his gaze at he stared at my body. I was breathing rapidly, searching his face for answers and finding none,

"What are you going to do to me?"

He set down the bottle of gel and looked down at me, a smile on his face,

"I'm not going to kill you."

"I didn't think you were going to."

He laughed and picked up the two electric shock magnets and I felt goosebumps rise to my skin,

"I want to know, Mr. J, what's going on?"

"Let's just call this...my form of unorthodox therapy on YOU."

I furrowed my eyes in confusion as he continued to speak in his captivating growl,

"You tried to fix me, now let me fix you, Doctor."

My heart was in my throat,

"Tried to fix? I am fixing you, J. I promise to always love you. You need love."

"I needed power. And I needed the hell out of here."

He switched the magnets on and I heard them rumble to life, a sound that caused my eyelids to flutter rapidly and my breathing to become erratic.

"You offered me both of those things. You were my toy. And I played with you."

He leaned down, placing a belt in my mouth to grip and whispered into my ear as my world was beginning to shatter into a million pieces,

"And now I'm going to break you."

And then the magnets were against my temple and my world exploded into a beam of green and red light.

'Mine.'

'Mine.'

'Mine.'
