Just some random Hamilton crap I made

Stand By You (fan song)

So this is something I created in class. It's an original song that will have two more parts to it. This is for the Lams shippers (Laurnes x Hamilton) whether it's an OTP or BroTP. I am a shipper myself, but I've come to realize their friendship (and highly possible romantic relationship) is glossed over quite a bit. There isn't a song with just the two of them, so I made one. You'll have to create a melody in your head (or not, I guess). Enjoy!

(Lauren's enter's Alexander's office)

[LAURENS] (spoken)

Alexander?

[HAMILTON] (spoken)

(stands) Greetings, Laurens! (shakes hand)

[LAURENS]

I see the general has taken quite a liking to you.

[HAMILTON]

I suppose that's true.

[LAURENS]

With your aid, the war will soon be through.

[HAMILTON]

There's not much that I can do.

[LAURENS]

He says you're skilled with a quill alright.

[HAMILTON]

All I want is to fight.

[LAURENS]

We should have another round tonight.

[HAMILTON]

All I ever do is write! (pause)

I can only brandish a pen

Writing back to Washington's men

He doesn't want me to take a stand

Laurens, you know that's not who I am!

[LAURENS]

Alexander?

[HAMILTON]

I won't celebrate over booze

That Washington didn't choose

To give me a gun to shoot

When I have nothing to lose!

[LAURENS]

Alexander...

[HAMILTON]

Alexander! (pause)
