I had Sebastian wake me a bit early that morning. Even though I was already awake several minutes before he came in the room, I pretended to be sleeping when I heard the door open. I listened as his soft footsteps lead the window. He drew the curtains back, letting sunlight fall on my face.

"Good morning, Lady Estella," he greeted me softly.

I gave no reply.

I heard him sigh, his footsteps growing softer. After a few seconds, I sleepily opened my eyes out of curiosity, only to find his face inches from mine.

I gasped and jerked away. He gave his bright, innocent smile.

"Forgive me, my lady, but you were sleeping so peacefully, I had to get a better look."

A little smile broke out across my face. "This is the morning, isn't it?"

"Yes," he answered, grabbing a tray from the bedside table. "Master's guests will be arriving in three hours."

"Right," I nodded, looking down nervously. "Do you think any of them will recognize me?"

"Perhaps," he answered as he poured a cup of tea. "You're not worried about it, are you?"

"No," I lied a little. "Though, I am a bit nervous about making a good impression. We all know how that went last time..."

"Don't fret about it. Master only has one fiancé, after all," he smiled as he handed me the tea cup. I took a little sip from it. "And, I suppose that if a similar situation arises, I'm always here."

"Yes, I almost forgot who you were," I giggled. "You know, Sebastian, I don't think ten servants could handle everything you do. I've never met anyone who seemed as perfect as you."

"Well, I'm no angel."
