Chapter 14

Jacob's P.O.V.

I hear my phone go off so I try to be slick & pull it out of my pocket. But just my luck I drop it on the floor. Luckily before the teachers notices that someone was on there phone I put it back up. Before I did I saw a glimpse of the message it looked like it could've been from Bella. I just wonder what she had to say..

Before I know it the teachers comes over & says "Jacob give me your phone" I hand the teacher my phone. He looks at me with a slight smirk on his face. I know now that since he took my phone I won't get it back till the end of the day. Well isn't that just great.

The bell finally rings.
I have one more class before lunch. I'm hoping to find Bella before lunch to figure out where we want to sit.

I head into my next class which happens to be English 2 oh boy! I just love English. I look up at the board to see what the assignment was today. Then it comes to me I can't talk to Bella at lunch I have lunch in the teachers room because I have a missing assignment. She will never forgive me..

Bella's P.O.V.

It's finally lunch time I'm happy to finally hear why Jacob did this. I walk into the lunch room & look all around for him but I don't see him so I decide to text him.

New message to Jacob:
Hey where are you? I don't see you at lunch!

I waited almost the whole lunch period to realize he stood me up. Wow I can't honestly believe myself for giving him another chance. How dumb was I? This was probably another little game of his. In my anger I decide to text him.

New message to Jacob:
I can't freaking believe you. See if I ever forgive you again..

I just decide I'm going to skip math because I don't want to see him. I hang out in the girls bathroom. When I hear the Queen Bee's talking about how Jacob did a good job with there dirty work. I hear my name mentioned. I really want to say something but I don't because who knows what they would do to me if they heard me in there. I just don't understand what I ever did to them. I'm not pretty for starters, I'm shy & I don't have anyone. Why on earth would they target me instead of someone else more threatening? I don't know I just decide to not think about it anymore because all I want to do is disappear. Like anyone would notice anyway?

Jacob's P.O.V

I feel so bad for standing up Bella she will probably never ever forgive me. Man that was stupid on my part trying to be slick & getting my phone out. My next class just happens to be math so I'm in luck I can talk to her.

I get to math class & look around I don't see Bella that's unlike her to skip class. Maybe she went home sick who knows. But I wish she was here I really want to tell her what happened.. I guess I'll just have to try her or call her whenever that is that I get my phone back..
