"Good Morning Madame Gardenia. We have arrived at our destination."

An air hostess announced through airplanes telecom system informing Arabella that they had arrived and to buckle the seat belts for landing.

Looking through her window, Arabella saw the vast green planes embellished with fields of flowers and valleys with houses dispersed along before the tarred road of the landing strip runway came into her view. Her face paled as her entire became qualmish, nauseated with regrets as the plane landed.

As the air hostess welcomed Arabella to London, the door of the plane was opened. Arabella nervously sat in her seat, frozen in realization, analyzing her decision. Alex stood waiting for her, he understood she would come to terms with reality soon and he would give her space to do so.

She stood from her seat suddenly, taciturn, as she reached for her luggage and exited the plane without saying a word.

A black SUV was parked on the private runway, two men in suits stood in front at each side of the vehicle. They took her luggage from her and placed them in the trunk before escorting her to the car, Alex trailing behind her got into the car too.

In the short ride to the Gardenia mansion, Alex expressed how happy he was to have Arabella there and all the things they would do. Arabella was also informed that Elena, one of her old friends lived there too. Arabella was silent throughout the entire ride, back to her usual quiet self as she kept to herself.

Arriving the Gradenia's residence, driving through the circular drive through, an elegant bronzed hued mansion highlighted with white highlights came into view. An elder woman came to greet Arabella as she exited the car, "Madam Gardenia, it's lovely to see you. My name is Elizabeth." She said, her words British.

"It's nice to meet to you too." Arabella said politely as Elizabeth led her inside the mansion with Alex trailing behind her and the chauffeur bringing in the luggage.

Elizabeth indicated where the rooms were situated with Alex still beside her. Before leaving, she gave Arabella the keys to the house and to the vehicles in the garage.

The mansion was white on the interior and modernly furnished, it had many rooms and it would take a lot of getting used for Arabella to live alone. The backyard had a pool and was unfenced extending into the forest.

"Where do you live? How is your mother." She turned finally talking to Alex, keeping her words to the minimum.

"I live right down the lane. Let's go now." He said smiling.

Heading toward the garage Arabella opened the door to a SUV and climbed into the passenger seat by accident as Alex climbed in the driver side. Unaccustomed to the steering wheel on the left hand, she had mistakenly got into the passenger side but did not voice her error as she let Alex drive.

Driving down the road, Alex came to a stop at a vast beige mansion that had the Grey family signet embroidering the front gates. After Alex was greeted by one of the guards, the gates of the mansion was opened.

Driving through the open gates and stopping in front of the house, memories washed over Arabella as she waited to meet his mother.
As they got out the car and Alex handed the key to one of the butlers to park the vehicle. Leading her into his house and into the living room, Arabella had scented a familiar smell and found his mother sitting, reading a book as her head rose and she quickly turned around to look at Arabella .

"Arabella Gardenia, my look how you've grown." She said smiling, getting up to hug her.
Exchanging greetings, Emily, Alex's mother, insisted that Arabella sit with her.

It was true what Alex had said to her on the phone, Arabella was a very beautiful maiden. She had caught Alex looking at Arabella many times for the short period they had been there.
Emily too was aware of the situation between Arabella and the King and was sure that her nephew would not mind.

"The king should be honoured to have such a beautiful mistress as yourself in his lands." Emily said.

Upon hearing this Arabella smiled, her worrying had subdued, but she still had a feeling something bad was going to happen.

"Thank you." She said politely.

"How are you liking your stay so far?" Emily asked trying to change the topic after seeing Arabella react to her statement.

"It's been quite nice. The place is just beautiful." Arabella said politely.

Arabella discussed with Emily her life in America after Alex left, she left out all the details of her training and struggles.

Realizing that Arabella was getting sad, Alex spoke up quickly and told his mother that they had to go.
Arabella bid his mother a small farewell as she exited and turned to Alex, she looked at him passively, his feelings not returned.

A smile returned to Alex's face, "Let me take you out to eat." He said.

Arabella was indeed hungry and complied to his demands.
He had taken her to a restaurant for dinner, something she found completely platonic, something unknown to Alex.
