All I want to remember when we are done

is the feeling of your hand 

so delicately placed in mine.

All I want to remember is

your genuine smiles and 

your searching eyes.

All I want to remember is

how appreciated I'd feel when

my phone's screen would light up

with your goodnight texts.

All I want to remember is

when I'd catch you staring 

and your obvious attempts at playing it off.

All I want to remember is

your arms wrapped around me.

All I want to remember is 

the love.
