Isolation

I am continuously placed next to empty desks,

A reminder that you are not here of the subtle nature.

We are continuously handed repetitive tests,

All of our wandering eyes searching for adventure.

Stuck to a solitary table in an isolation,

With no knowledge being taught,

Surrounded by pointless papers focusing on articulation,

With not a single soul to talk.

Anchored in a windowless room,

Expected to excel as a student,

Easily distracted and struggling to resume.

How could you see education as anything other than an opponent?

Another case of wasted potential,

Possibly even immoral- and therefore kept confidential.
