I have really screwed things over now. That was such a dick move why the hell did I do it? And now Cammie has left.
But on the floor was her jacket that gave me an excuse to talk to her again. I though about texting her but then I chickened out. I went to sleep with a sick feeling in the bottom of my stomach.
I woke up and got dressed wearing all black and putting a camouflage jacket on top of my outfit. I ate some toast and rushed to the bus stop. I put my head phones in and listened to the saddest music I could find. I counted 3 bus stops until it was Cammie's bus stop and I waited to see her get on. She didn't.
"Fuck." I whispered to myself.
"What's wrong Shannon." Anna said from behind me. I must have whispered it louder that I thought I had.
"I just forgot some over due homework." I smiled sadly.
"If you say so." And with that Matt had her complete attention again.
I fiddled with my phone deciding whether to text Cammie or not. And then I finally hit send.
S- Your not on the bus...
~5 minutes later~
C- No, Ally is giving me a lift in today 😅
S- Oh ok.
C- Shannon ... We need to talk.
S- Yeah.
