Also btw this might now be 100% right since I have not really watched or read the Vampire diaries so if you see anything I messed up on do not be afraid to tell me. Now onto the dumb moments.

-When the author spells Mystic Falls wrong

-When the main girl starts to fall in love with either Damon or Stefan, Elena is totally ok with it and it does not stir up any drama what so ever

-The main girl is the long long long long long long lost sister to one of the characters and they are not suspicious one bit and totally accept it with open arms

-stupid authors that do not know how to spell the characters names

-the OC is human and has no powers what so ever yet can fight a werewolf, kill a vampire and all the wounds she gets heals in a matter of minutes

- some of the stories makes it seem you are reading a shitty twlilight fan fic

-''He hissed at me and I hissed back.'' Um are they cats or something

-when a character has someone pinned against the wall by their neck (summited by @jazzylemonfizz)

-speaking of which all fights in this books are 40% snarling, and hissing 20% transforming 35% monologuing and 5% actually fighting

-Damon and Sefan has extreme OCD

-OC always has these 'hidden powers' and she has to use them to save the world

-Klaus jumps put of nowhere when something romantic is happening

-Everyone is totally fine with having a hybrid in there town even though they could possibly destroy everything

-Show has witches and ghosts but fanfic does not have witches and ghosts

-Everyone has either black or dark brown hair

-Girl transforms into werewolf for the first time and feels no pain and doesn't go crazy.

-The Salvatore family: picking up hot homeless girls on the side of the road and letting them stay in their house with no information about them since forever

-Vampire diaries survival tip #67: don't go outside when its a full moon you will be either mauled or raped my a werewolf.

-She masters her amazing powers even though she just found out about them

-they own expensive cars but you don't read them actually driving anywhere

-''(insert name her) is turning.'' ''(insert name here) is hurt.'' ''(Insert name here) is planning on killing everyone. Every. Fucking. Time.

-When a brawl is happening instead of heading somewhere safe the girl just stands there like an idiot
