I went to class and sat down.
In English we had to read out loud...
Of course I was excused sense I can't talk.

"You skipped Ross."
"Ross can't talk."
"He's faking!"
"Matt, read."
"After Ross!"
Can I leave?
"Matt office!"
Matt left. Can I leave?
"Nobody read till Ross does!" Some kid yelled.

The rest of the day went like this...

I sat by myself. Then I saw a new girl. She sat right in fount of me.
"Hey, I'm Skye."
I looked down and then back up.
"You okay?"
I didn't know what to do...
"This is aquward."
I looked down at my lap.
"Wait, are you the kid who can't talk?"
I nodded.
"Oh! Makes sense."
I smiled a little.
"Your cute."
I smiled.
"We should do something later. Text me?"
She gave me her number.
Yay!
"Bye cutie." She got up and left.
I put her number in my phone. I'll text her when I get home.
-HOME-
I have been texting Skye all day! She's funny, smart, and maybe will keep me from getting ANOTHER swirly!
We're gonna hang out tomorrow after school at the mall! Can't wait!!!
-NEXT DAY-
I'm nervous! Riker told my this might be a set up! What if he's right!?!
"Hey Ross!"
I waved.
"Come on I know the best restaurant here!"
She grabbed my hand and dragged me to a pasta place.

I nodded, Riker lied!
