twenty nine

"So kinuha mo nga???" Natatawa si Rhian at hjmarap siya sakin.

"Ano.. Oo hahaha. Akala ko kasi totoo, tsaka I thought that my friends won't ever tell lies. Kaya naniwala ako.." I explained while Rhian's still laughing. "Tapos nagulat nalang sakin yung teacher namin na kinakalkal ko na yung bag niya sa harap. Hindi naman siya nagalit, pinabalik niya lang ako sa upuan ko pero grabe yung hiya ko sa buong classmates ko noon."

Hindi parin siya tumitigil sa pagtawa. "Huy ikaw naman ang daya mo hahaha"

"Most embarrassing din?"

"Hindi.."

"Eh ano?"

"Sa circle of friends mo ngayon, kina Sace, Keith, Coco, Benjamin at Denise. Sino yung pinaka close mo? I-rank mo sila ng sunod sunod, yung una mong sasabihin yung pinakaclose mo tapos papunta sa least"

Sana hindi niya maisip na sinusubukan ko parin kumuha ng mga information..

"Aba hahaha. Sige, syempre si Denise.." Just to hear her say that name makes my whole body feel a zing.

"Actually halos pantay si Sace at Keith eh, tapos si Coco." She then added

"Eh si Benjamin?"

"Uhm, okay lang ako with Benjamin.. Hindi kami close hindi rin kami open, hahaha joke. I mean neutral lang. Baka si Denise close pa sila. Bakit mo naman natanong?"

"Ah wala, curious lang.. Hahaha."

We then again remained silent for a while..

"Hey, you're still wet.." Oh my God, bat ko nasabi yun? I can feel my face blushing and Rhian's controlling her laugh.

"I mean, parang basa padin yung sweater mo kasi diba ano.. Galing ka sa labas.." I explained trying to avoid looking at her.

"Okay lang as if namang magkakasakit pa ko pag natuyuan ako ng damit.. Hahaha"

"Sabagay hahaha, pero ayaw mo bang magpalit ng kahit minsan? Madami pa kong clothes diyan. Eto oh" I immediately head to my closet and pull out my oversized shirts for her.

"Ipupush mo talaga no? Hahaha. Ayaw mo bang wet ako...."

And again my face blushes..

"Ewan ko sayo.. Hahaha eto oh magpalit ka."

"Ayaw mo na ba tong sweater ko?"

"No, that suits you so much."

"Really?" Rhian grins

"Yeah, and you look so huggable and cuddly at the same time with that sweater.." I look down as I confess my cheesy feelings towards her sweater..

Natawa nalang din siya, tumalikod sakin at dahan dahan niyang tinanggal ang top niya. Her body is so perfectly carved.. I just couldn't fathom why in the world, the heaven would take this gorgeous human very early..

While she's still changing her top, I crawl back to my bed and sit down, waiting for her to finish.

"You know what Glaiza, I've never met someone that's so rare like you. Like your stories and your whole personality are just so rare that I would hold onto you until the end just to keep you beside me. Alam mo naman diba na I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, I never complained about our lifestyle my family's lifestyle. I was just contented with what I had before.. Parang walang problema, kaya siguro ako kaagad kinuha ni Lord para naman magkaroon daw ng problema kahit papaano.."

Baka

"That's not true Rhian." I say, looking at her. "Lahat naman tayo nagkakaroon ng problema, iba iba lang din siguro tayo ng way kung paano natin ihahandle yun. Our problems do not define us, and do not define our death."

She looks at me and her lips are pressed in a fine line. "You got a point."

"Ang lakas parin ng ulan, parang ang dami na nating napagusapan.."

"Hindi pa kaya, ang dami mo pang hindi alam sakin tsaka hindi ko pa alam sayo. Katulad ng anong favorite mong ulam, pet, color, yung mga dislikes mo."

"Bakit kasi kailangan mo pang mawala dito sa mundo?" Tears start to fall and I'm controlling not to, to not ruin our moment.

Kung sana lang talaga na pwede ko siyang ibalik sa pagkabuhay, gagawin ko..

Hindi niya masagot yung tanong ko.. Parang may iniisip siya na ayaw niyang sabihin.

"I don't know.."

I feel the frustration in her words, the wanting of her to be breathing once again.

I lean my head against her and feel her icy aura. We both listen to the sound of the storm outside. There had been many realization I had since when I met this ghost. Why does life needs to end, well before I've always wanted to but it's different now. Breathing is precious and so is she, life is important and same with her. Every second, every minute I just couldn't stop myself falling for her. I am so happy and inlove  with this ghostly being beside me.

"Hey.."

"I want to know what's going on your mind.." She says and I tilt my head to have a look at her eyes..

"Nothing.. I'm thinking of you"

My eyes start to get locked on her lips, her very soft lips..

And I think she's doing the same..

"Are you gonna kiss me or are we going to stay looking at each other's lips.." I ask.

I am shocked and overwhelmed by the touch of her lips on to mine. This is not our first time but the feeling she's giving me is all new and fresh. I can feel every feelings she have for me, I can feel her genuine smile beneath my lips. She then take a hold of my cheeks through my hair so she can see my whole face as she devour my lips. I pulled her closer until our kisses start to move. I wrap my other arm around her neck and my other hand starts to caress her face. I open my eyes lightly, to see her face, her whole being as we still continue to kiss and let out our feelings. Being close to her gives me this unending  happiness I've never imagined and never had before.

I close my eyes again and let the fight between ice and fire rush to me. She kisses me as if there will be no tomorrow, her lips pull away from mine and landed next to my jaw, a kiss that makes me want her more and more. Rhian's lips did not stop there, but it wildly goes to my bare neck, kissing it even more that made me twirl my fingers around her soft and smooth hair..

The rain outside is our witness to this beautiful scene we have.
