Asia POV
I woke up to my phone ringing.
"Hello" I said
"If you want your job back be here in the next hour" Chris said then hung up
I got up and got dressed then I went work. When I got to his office I put his coffee on the desk.
"So what now" I asked
"My secretary/ assistant is out at the moment and I need you to do her job today" he said
"So if I do good then I take her job" I asked
"No she will still be my secretary, you'll just be my assistant" he said and I nodded
"Now I have some investors coming in from out of town and I need them happy" he said
"Yes sir" I said
When the group of investors came into the conference room I had already had some snacks put out on the table. I went to the break room to get the drinks when I heard someone close the door. I turned around and it was one of the investors.
"Hey honey" he said looking me up and down
"Um I think your lost, because the conference room is down the hall" I said
"No I don't think I'm lost" he said walking up to me
"Sir I really should go back" I said walking around him, but he blocked my path
"I think you should stay" he said moving my hair from my shoulders
Chris POV
When I got he the conference room, I was about to start my presentation and I realized Asia wasn't here. I walked up to my coworker josh and asked if he saw her.
"I think she's in the break room getting drinks" he said
"How long ago was that" I asked
"About 10 minutes ago" he said
I walked out of the conference room and too the break room to find Asia crying in the corner while one of he investors was walking up to her. I tackled him to the ground and started punching him over and over and over again to my knuckles were bleeding.
"Chris get off of him, your going to kill him" josh said pulling me off of him and the guy ran
I walked over to Asia and she was shaking.
"Josh call the cops" I said and he left to call them
"H-he was going t-to hurt me" she said crying
"I wasn't going to let that happen" I said and sat next to her and hugged her
When the cops came they questioned her.
"You need to go to the hospital and get your hand checked out" josh said
"I'm not leaving her" I said
"Don't worry I'll make sure she gets home safe" he said
"Ok, tell her she doesn't have to come in tomorrow" I said
"I will" he said and I left
Asia POV
The next day
I walked in the office and everyone stared at me, I knew everyone knew what happened yesterday. I walked into Chris's office and his hand was wrapped up.
"Good morning" I said
"Good morning, how are you" he asked
"Better that you came along" I said
"Me too" he said
"I'm sorry for your hand" I said
"Don't worry about, I'm glad I beat that dude" he said
"Well I just came to say thank you" I said and started to walk away till he stopped me
"Could you stay for a little bit" he said
"Yeah what's up" I asked
"You have the job if you want it" he said
"What" I asked confused
"If you want to be my assistant the job is yours" he said
"Thank you" I said
"Your welcome, your office is just next door" he said and I left to go to my office
