I woke up did my morning routine and went downstairs to make breakfast for the kids.
"Mommy are you ok" Hayden asked me
"Yeah why" I asked
"Because you haven't really talked since the party" she said
"I'm fine honey" I said and smiled at her
When the kids finished eating they went to school and I got dressed for work. When I got to the building I took the elevator to the top floor. When I got there I saw my coworker Shawnee.
"Hey girl" she said
"Hey, what are you doing here so early" I asked her
"This is the time your suppose to be here" she said
"I know your never on time" I said
"Well I'm gonna have to be if I want to keep this job, our new boss don't like his workers late and he has this strike 3 method" she said
"What are you talking about" I asked confused
"If you mess up three times your fired" she said
"Well at least we got Jaylan" I said
"No we don't he fired her" she said
"What she was his secretary" I said
"I know, I guess he wanted her to do more than what was in her job description and they got in a big argument and he fired her" she said
"I need to talk to this dude, cause he's changing this whole building" I said
"I know he got me working at the receptionist desk" she said
"Your kidding" I said
"Yea" she said
"Well we definitely need to fix this cause I can't have you working with me" I said and she hit me
"far warning, try not to drool when you see him" she said and I walked into my new bosses office and dropped all my stuff when I saw it was Chris.
"Didn't anybody ever teach you to knock" he said and I started picking up my stuff
"I'm sorry" I said and looked up and he was shocked to see me
"What are you doing here" he asked
"I work here" I said
"Since your here I need these files separated" he said changing the subject and I took them off his desk
"Is there a problem" he asked
"Well this is a job for your secretary and I'm just the receptionist on the first floor" I said
"Your not the replacement" he asked
"No" I said
"Then why are you in my office" he asked
"I just wanted to know who I was working for Chris" I said
"It's Mr.Hemsworth to you and your right you do work for me so if I said I wanted you to separate some files you do that or you could always find another job" he said crossing his arms
"I'm sorry I will have these files separated for you" I said and walked out
