New start

*ALLY'S POV*

Hi I'm Ally I'm 13 years old and I have not talked since my parent were killed right in front of me when I was 5. I now live in Sunny Side orphanage, no one here seems to like me except for my room mate Kate. She's 16 and has been adopted and returned 5 times. Every time she would get adopted she would sneak out to try and bring me food or new clothing and her adoptive family would not be ok with it so they would send her back and get a much younger kid. I felt bad for her but it was nice to know that she still cared about me even if it could mean she would most likely be sent back to this hell hole.

The owner of the orphanage, Ms. Lux, kind of hates me. I never gave her a reason to. Because of her, I cut. Kate doesn't know because I will only do it when she's at school (I'm the only one in the house that's not allowed to go to school) or late at night so that she won't find out. Kate will always stand up for me but she usually ends up getting a beating for it. Kate has made some friends at school and they helped her get a job so she will sometimes be working when she's supposed to be at school the only thing is that Ms. Lux never checks the phone or she would be dead. She's been working since she was 14 so she's mead enough money that she was able to get an iPod and there is a shop close to the orphanage that has free WiFi so she connects to that and we will play on it when we are done are chorus or if Ms. Lux is out.

The one thing I wish for is to get out of here. I hate it here and I don't know how much longer I can stand to be here. I don't know why Ms. Lux has it out for me. She seems to think that I am her slave.

"ALLY GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE NOW" Ms. Lux yells I look at Kate, it's 4:30 pm she never calls us down at this time. We both get up and make our way to the stairs. Kate stays at the top just so she doesn't get yelled at for coming when she was not called. I walk down slowly and into Ms. Lux's office.

There are a group of teen boys standing there. I walk in expecting her to tell me to go and find Kate or one of the other brats (wops did I just say that😋) that live here. She stands up and says "this is Ally" to the group of boys. I start to think am I finally going to be getting out of here? One of them steps foreword and bends down so he's eye height with me, he says

"Hi, my name is Cameron." I nod my head and Ms. Lux says

"She has not talked since she was 5." Cameron just keeps looking at me he says "I and my brothers were wanting to adopt you. Are you ok with that?" my eyes widen and I'm so shocked I nod my head fast. Ms. Lux tells me to go get my things. I scamper out of the room and back up the stairs, I wanted to get my things before they changed there mind. I go right past Kate to our room and start to pack my things. Kate comes in and says "are you getting adopted?" I nod my head as I continue to put the scarce amount of clothing into a small bag. Kate gives me a piece of paper and I look at her confused. " it's my email the minute you find a computer I want you to email me so I know you're ok." I nod and hug her. I pull her out the door with me and down the stairs. She's the only one that's going to miss me here. I give her one last hug before I walk back into Ms. Lux's office where the boys are. They look at me and I just stand by the door as Cameron fills out paperwork for the adoption. One of them keeps looking at me. He looks to be like a year older than me most likely. He looks away and I look down at my feet. I stand there until I hear my name and lookup. One of the boys comes over to me and says that they are ready to go if I am. I nod my head and we walk out of the room I look over and see Kate is still sitting on the stairs. I run over to her and give her one last hug. She holds me tight and then let's go and looks up at the boys her eyes almost pop out of her head. "OH MY GOSH, YOUR THE MAGCON BOYS" she almost screams they look down and I look at her and she is almost jumping up and down on me. Ms. Lux looks at her with a very mad look on her face and then she stops acting so "immature" as Ms. Lux would say. I kind of nudge her and she runs back to her room. I think that she gets what I was doing I didn't want her to get hurt so she got up there before Ms. Lux could do something to her. I walk over to the boys and we walk out the door. I don't own a pair of shoes so I have nothing on my feet. One of them picks me up so that I'm not walking on the gravel parking lot ground. They seem to be nice. I get in the car and they all get in after me. I sit there and don't say anything. One of them says "we should go around and say our names. I'm Nash." the boy says I nod and next to him is his younger brother Hayes (the one that was looking at me), behind us is Matt, Aron, Carter, Jack, Jack(JJ), and Taylor. Next to Cameron is Shawn in the passenger seat. I wave and Matt asks why don't you talk? I make the shape of a gun with my hands and act like it's going off and I aim it at Nash I think that Matt gets what I'm saying from that. They all look at me with a sad face and I just look down. Cameron says "so Ally we adopted you because we wanted a little sister but your technically my daughter, we all live together so they are all your brothers." I slowly nod signaling that I understand. The rest of the drive is quiet till we get the biggest house ever seen.
