Do you know what it's like?

To feel alone

Even in a crowd?

To always be on your own?

I do

Hate your reflection?

Is looking at it something you never want to do?

I despise my reflection

Have you ever said you ate

When you haven't for awhile?

All because your body you hate

Have you ever purged

Until blood you spat?

Ever hide behind an act?

Pretend to be happy

But really you just want to die?

The words 'I'm fine' are spoken

But oh what a lie

'I'm fine' not even close

Have you ever told that lie?

Have you ever gone to sleep

And hoped that you'd die?

Have you ever stared at the floor

Think, then cut yourself with a blade

Then do a couple more?
