(Stiles' POV)
I wonder how Maya's doing. I really miss talking to her, but it didn't necessarily help since I was on a trip to Brazil for 6 months. I know things have been really hard on her lately so I'm not going to bother her or anything. She doesn't need any more stress than she's already in.
As soon as I sat on my bed after I got back an alarm goes off reading, "Check up on Maya. Be nice and understanding!" Our phones had to be left at home the entire trip so I couldn't communicate with anyone! Kinda sucks but I see why they made us do it. Brazil was just amazingly beautiful and so much it reminded me of Maya. It'd be a shame if we were on our devices the entire trip and missed all that Brazil had in store for us.
It's 9:18 pm and I contemplate between whether I should text her, or just sleep. I decide to sleep for the night so I can prepare myself for tomorrow. I just can't get the thought of seeing her again out of my head. I mean, we're just friends, but I really want to see how she's holding up.
