"Stay away from Jase" she snarled in my ear. I was getting to tired of this. I removed my hair from my face an told her"don't you dare touch me". I spotted Eric and i was walking to him i was viciously turned around and Maya slapped me. I put my hand on my stinging cheek just as Eric came to stand in front of me glaring at Maya. "Aww is your boyfriend gonna protect you" she cooed. I just saw red. Eric at that moment stood right infront of me
"This is getting too far, you need to stand down" Eric says looking down at Mikayla. I scanned the room and saw Jason standing in the corner of the room. I walked to him. "Keep your pet on a leash. I am done with this and I am done with you. You will never see me or my unborn child. You suck and I wish I never met you" i spat. I spun around so I wouldn't see his facial expression and i ran out of the hall with Eric on my tail.
"Kay wait"
"Eric i need to leave" i told him with tears stinging in my eyes. "This is too much for me and my baby. I have to go."
"Hey, its ok, i'll take you home". i nodded. He drove me home and i immediately started to pack my things. I was going to the one place i felt very safe, Ode's house.
Jason's pov:
I should have stopped her when she walked out. But i was glued to my position. When she told me i wouldn't be able to see my baby, I wasn't angry or hurt. Besides maybe the kid isn't even mine so why bother? But the thought of never seeing Mikayla again?
I walked down to see Maya and Kay in a heated argument . I couldn't help but boil with anger when i saw Eric going to protect her. That's my job. I froze when we made eye contact. And as she started to walk towards me I panicked. I couldn't move. I can't believe she'd say that. I picked Maya up just as i saw her leave with Eric on her tail. Fuck! I took Maya home and retired to mine. The only thing that was on my mind was getting Kay back.

it's been a year since i last saw Kay. I searched everywhere for here
"Sir, Mr. Blake is here to see you" my assistant told me
"Send him in" i said.
The door burst open and i looked up to see my best friend Blake walk in
"What's up man?" he asked
"I'm good" i said distractedly
"Are you still looking for that girl?. Dude I haven't seen you in like 8 months. You never come around and you use your free time to look for this girl, its agonising." he said bored
"I can't get her out of my mind" i told him
How's the wedding planning going" I asked
He then gave me an ear to ear grin." It was hectic in the beginning but then Ode's friend came over to stay with me and has been helping ode so its all good"
"How was it hectic. Ode's friend? How come I didn't know about this?"
"Because you're too busy to even pick ups the phone and call me. But yeah her friend. She recently had twins but they were premature. She spent lots of days and nights in the hospital. She became so thin but its all good now. Man i wish you could see them. They are so adorable. The boy has bright-silver grey eyes like yours and brown hair. And the girl also has brown hair and her mother's eyes and nose. But the father died in a car crash. Well that's what she said"
"That's sad. He couldn't even see his children born"
"Anyway wanna come over tonight. She's cooking. Man she knows how to cook and when she does she makes so much."
"Sure I'd love to come. What time"
"Maybe 7"
"Sure ill see you then"
Blake then walked out to my office as I continued to work. At six i decided to head home and get ready. i took a shower and wore a shirt and shorts and headed over to Blake's. I decided to buy some wine and i got to his house. Blake lived in a mansion while i lived in a penthouse. I knocked on the door and Ode came to open it
"Hey Jase" she said while giving me a hug."Look i'm heading out to get some stuff but Kay is in the kitchen, i'll see you later.
Kay?I headed over to the kitchen and the smell of food invaded my nostrils. It smelled divine. I knocked on the kitchen and heard a faint come in. I stopped in my track as i saw who i was standing face to face with.
Mikayla...
Mikayla's pov:
When Blake's friend entered the kitchen i was busy with work. I heard in come in and stop in his tracks. i looked up and came face to face with Jason.
"Mikayla" he said breathlessly
"Hello Jason" i said
"Kay i have been looking for you everywhere"
"Well you found me" i said with fake enthusiasm
"don't be like that" he said
"Jason i'm done with you" i told him "you made it very clear where i stand"
"You don't understand I-"
"Jason like i said I'm done"
At that moment ode walked in
"I see you've met Jason" she said
"Yh"
When Blake arrived we sat down for dinner. They all complimented my food and I couldn't help but blush. After dinner i drove to my apartment and paid the nanny. I used to stay with Ode but I left her place after I got better. I walked over to the nursery and saw JJ and Alexis fast asleep. I walked out of the nursery and heard the door bell ring. I opened it to find Jason standing there.
"How did you find me?" i asked
"I followed you" he replied
I motioned for him to come in
"What are you doing here?" i asked
"I missed you Kay" he said in my ear.
I bit my lip to suppress the shudder that was about to erupt. I wouldn't fall for his tricks. Not again. I placed my hand on his chest and whispered "Wish i could say the same for you" i told him back.
I saw his jaw drop.
i walked to my door and opened it. "you can leave now." I told him icily.
He looked at me and grinned evilly.
"I'm not quite yet done sweetheart" he replied coolly.
"Jason i'm serious get out" At that moment i heard JJ cry. I walked over to the nursery to pick him up and brought him to the living room. He nuzzled his face to my neck and i sat on the couch with Jason watching me. At that moment JJ picked his head up and stared at Jason and Jason stared back with wide eyes. JJ lifted his hands as a sign that he wanted Jason to pick him up. Jason looked at me for confirmation and picked him up. My arms were tired instantly. For a 7 month baby he sure was heavy.Jason stared at him for am moment and turned back to me.
"He's mine isn't he?". I just nodded my head.
