Chapter Eight

Chorong's POV

"Here's your damn phone!" A hard metal hit my desk which startled me for a moment.

I looked up from my notebook and noticed it was Luhan.

"Y-You had my phone all this time?" I asked him as I picked up the familiar device.

"..yes." he mumbled.

I looked up at him and stared for a while. "Thank you." I surprisingly said.

His eyes met mine before he darted his gaze elsewhere.

"For bringing back your phone?" he asked.

"No."

"Then what?"

"For saving me on that day."

He turned his body away and leaned on my desk.

"It's no big of a deal."

"I've dealed with much more worse in China."

Woah, he's from China? How come I not know?

Oh, that's why he had a slight accent when talking.

"I didn't know you were from China."

"I'm a proud Chinese." he said as he shifted a bit.

"Everyone is proud of their nationality, don't they?" I asked.

"Not everyone."

I stayed silent after that. I took the moment to look through my phone but it was dead.

I lost my phone for a week and I guess that's why. Luhan doesn't seems like he bothered to charge it.

"Did you..."

Luhan turned his head a little towards me.

"...go through my phone?"

I noticed some scratch marks on my phone's screen. There's also a bit of dent on it's cover.

I looked up when I noticed he wasn't answering.

"I guess you did." I mumbled to myself.

"Sehun." he suddenly said.

I looked up again, my neck hurts by the time. I looked at his back head with confusion.

"He demanded me to give it back to you."

My eyes widen. He demanded him? To give it back?

"Or else he'll make a police report on me." he sighed.

I looked down on my phone, fiddling it with my fingers.

"Why is he so protective? Is he your boyfriend or something?"

The word 'boyfriend' made me stiff. Why does he think that?

"...no."

"You don't have to lie though."

My eyebrows furrowed. I'm not lying.

"I'm not lying and no, he's not my boyfriend. He does not have anything to do with me." I said as I raised my brow.

"Well it looks like a complete opposite to me."

"It's your opinion and I was just clarifying it. So,"

"You know, I think he likes you."

What? Oh Sehun? Likes me? No way.

"W-what are you talking about?"
