Father and Mother agreed that it was time we leave and give Shadow his space after the death of Acorn.
We settled next to a giant lake that wasn't that far from the forest. We decided that we're better off in the open air that a crowded forest.
When I became an adult, Shadow unexpectedly came over for a visit with his mate, Maple. Turns out they were going to have kits soon, too.
After their visit, I started meeting up often with a cat named Poppy. She was so beautiful, even now. We have 2 wonderful kits, and deep down in my heart, I've promised them that I will never let anything happen to them.
I will never let them go. I will forever and always be their guardian. No matter what happens, they will always be my family.
