I stepped out of the dark hanger. I saw the ship was ready. How nice of the crew. The bow was facing me as I walked towards it. I moved to the right where a Jeep was waiting for me. I climbed on and they sped for the side of the ship. First was the large hull. So beautiful.
The dark black metal plates were shining in the early sun. Next the name on the side. In white bold letters, it read: RIPTIDE. Then the guns. Shining a magnificent bright green. After that was the huge propellers lifting it just a few dozen feet from the tarmac. The huge gas burning engines that moved the ship in the back were visible from here. Then the cabin. Behind it was two huge gas boilers with a large coal boiler in between them. It was all so amazing. A ladder was dropped. I climbed on without hesitation. This ship was amazing. And she was mine. How do I know? Because I was the captain.
