I woke up to find Aubrey gone and I sighed waking up yawing. I got up wrapping my silk black robe around me and I put my house shoes on and walked downstairs to find breakfast laid out.
I smiled, he's so sweet for this. I sat and ate breakfast thinking about Aubrey. After I finished I put my plate in the kitchen and I went out on the patio walking into the sand.
I looked out down the beach to find Aubrey and Ava playing in the sand and water. I smiled at Ava who was being thrown in the air and caught by Aubrey, just seeing her laugh and smile makes me so happy.
I walked over to them and Aubrey pulled me in as he held Ava in his other arm.
"Good morning mommy" Ava said and I kissed her cheek
"Good morning to you too mami" Aubrey said kissing my cheek making me blush
"Good morning Aubrey, thanks for the breakfast" I said smiling
"No problem, it's the least I can do" He said
"Ava baby girl you have school today." I said and she pouted
"But I don't want to go" She said catching an attitude
"Oh well, now come on so you can shower and get ready" I said and she rolled her eyes and I popped her making her eyes water
"Don't get that tail whipped, just because daddy is here. Eye rolls, smacking lips, all that attitude shit will not run with me" I said and she was about to cry when I gave her that *You better shut up before I give you something to cry about* look and she stopped
"Kim leave her alone" Aubrey said
"Uh huh she think she can act grown just because her daddy is here. Now when she catch a attitude with you, you gone be ready to get on her like I am" I said and he got quiet because he knew I was right

Me, Ava, and Aubrey walked to Ava's school, taking her to her class. She dressed in her school uniform with her hair in two pigtails.
I was dressed in my black feather dress, with my black flats, and my hair was curled in a short cut. Aubrey was dressed nicely in all white. White dress shirt, some white jeans with rips, and some all white jordans.
"Alright have a good day at school my princess" Aubrey said kissing Ava's cheek
"Love you baby girl" I said
"Love you too mommy, and I will love you daddy" She said running into her classroom and her teacher came up to me and Aubrey
"Well hello Mrs. Pate and you must be Ava's father, she talks about you alot" Mrs. Brown said
Mrs. Brown was an older lady, short, short brown curly hair, hazel eyes, and she looked good for her age. Black don't crack.
"Mr. Graham" He said shaking hands with her
"Well just to tell you two, Ava is doing great. She is wonderful and everything. But there is a problem, I started to notice" She said and my face turned straight to worry
"And what is that?" I asked
"Well when she first got here, I thought she was just nervous and shy and didn't talk to any of the other girls here" She said and I looked confused
"And now that's it's been some months, I've notice that she hasn't made any friends. That she spends most of her time at rescue alone and I'm worried, she's seems antisocial" Mrs. Brown said
