"i liked a boy who became the brightest star in my sky to the point where his rays burned me and tore me apart; although i walk a different path today with bandages and hidden marks on my arms, his presence remains in my mind where it will forever stay for i unknowingly fell in love with him and became the victim of a marvelous supernova." -galena t.

"because, if you could love someone, and keep loving them, without being loved back... then that love had to be real. it hurt too much to be anything else." — Sarah Cross, Kill Me Softly

thank you for all the support and love that you guys have given me. writing this work has been both comforting and overwhelming because it has brought back many memories, some that still hurt extensively.

as some of you know, i am the protagonist of this story, and i wrote these poems reminiscing over the person that i cared (and still care) about. i wrote these poems in an effort to see if i could eventually discover an answer to what i wanted to know and that was if i loved him. frankly, i'm still a bit lost on the idea, but i think i grasped the idea.

there isn't really one way to love, but they are all connected back to the original emotion you feel. there are many ways to love to choose from, and until you feel love in its truest form, you never really know love. so, until then, whatever you believe is love is how you believe love feels like from your perspective, and that's what my conclusion has come to for now as i wait to see what's to come c:

as for sequels and what not, there isn't really a sequel. however, my new book, which is gonna be up soon when i get the format together lol, "as night falls" has some relation to it since the "girl" of this book is the same one from this one, but the story is set in her dreams and sort of her subconscious self. it's very different in my opinion, but it is loosely linked to this book, which is why i even mentioned it here haha. plus, it'll probably mention new events that this book would've if it continued on in the same manner. well, peace out guys, and thanks again for everything since i think this is my most successful version of this "story" c:

love, galena

p.s. there is an epilogue still in the making that talks about what has happened in the last few days and has multiple notes/poems in it c: it'll be up soon
