Whispers -

by Sophia Cac

I hear them,

whispers in my head.

They echo like an endless song,

telling things I could never tell.

I've been told, they were call demons.

Villains that I'm well acquainted.

My aura they show,

blind eyes never seen.

You can tell,

I'm living in hell.

Morning bloom,

yet darkness arise more.

They groan, consuming the light in me.

They yelled, their voice ringing in my ears.

Whispers continue as I lay in my bed.

Where my demons embrace me,

tells me what life is.

I could never blame none other than me,

for I am the one to disobey what they wish.

They beg, they plead and finally force me to write them down.

For once, silence was heard.

I feel pleasant, lighter than ever.

I keep on writing, my mind dwelling into the such world.

I loved it, they loved it.

Whispers continue, echoed with rhyme.

I've been told, Demon was its name.

I wrote, the story that we hid.

I'm well acquainted with villains in my head.
