Chapter 11 - Take You There

"So 4 to 5 videos a day? How is that even possible? Do you have time to sleep and eat?" I asked looking at some video games. We were talking about his YouTube career just to waste some time

"Eh you'll get used to it eventually, and about the sleep and eat you might want to call me zombie from now on" he said shrugging it off laughing while grabbing some headphones and put it in the basket

"Alex, look at this" Vik said as he held a CD in his hand

"Already have it" I smirked and he frowned and put it back "I was trying to be nice and show it to you since you love all time low" he said

"Aww don't worry Vikky" I patted his back and looked around for more stuff

"I like how it's all devices related but theres a small book section right in the corner" I said smiling

"You know you gotta get that knowledgeeee" he said laughing and I looked at him confused

"Is it supposed to be funny?" I asked confused he stopped laughing and gave me a small pout

"You're not a loyal subscriber" he said

"Pardon me, I only watched like 3 of your videos" I lied looking around the books

"Uh huh" he said smirking looking at me

"What?" I gazed at him for a brief before looking down at the books "it's true" i muttered

"I'll believe you" he chuckled and grabbing a book "this looks interesting" he said showing it to me

"All the bright places" i read the cover, I took the book off his hand and turn it around "it's a good story yet a sad one" I frowned

"Well Zoella liked it" he said pointing at her name on the book

I raised my eyebrow at him "what? She's an author as well you know, she recommended the book" he shrugged

I nodded slowly narrowing my eyes softly "I'm going to read it when I get back home" I said putting it in our basket

"You'll buy it?" He asked I rolled my eyes "what part of 'I'm going to read it when I get back home' you don't understand?"

"Okay no need to be miss sassy" he said raising his arms in defence

I chuckled "so you finished?" I asked putting my hair on both of my shoulders

He nodded "yeah, let's pay for these" he said looking down at our basket

We went to the cashier and he set the basket on the counter for it to get scanned

I tried to get my money out but he stopped me "I'll pay"

"Vik you payed for our drinks back at the cinema, I don't want you to pay more" I said having a wary look on my face

"Consider it as a gift" he said tilting his head and smile, I crossed my arms "please?" He gave me a small pout

I scoffed then nodded "fine, but it's the last time you'll pay for my stuff again"

He cheered a little before giving the money to the guy, he grabbed the plastic bags and we got out of the store

"Let's go get something to eat" he said and I nodded

We went to the food court and bought some hamburgers after that we found a place to sit in

I took a chip and throw it in my mouth I'm such a lady like..

"So"

"So..." I said looking down at my food and play with the chips before putting it in my mouth again

"Were you born here in London or?" He started and gazed at me while taking a sip from his drink

"Not really" I said "I was born in my mums home town which is in Russia" I said

"You're mum is Russian?" He said surprised and I nodded "yep, my dad was in Russia for his business trip a while back, found my mum and they instantly fell in love.." I smiled softly and took a bite out of my burger

"That's really cool, so what does she look like?" He asked making me giggle a little "what?" He tilted his head

I shook my head and cleaned my mouth "nothing. she has greenish bluish eyes I guess? and black hair, her original colour is blonde but she dyed it" I said and he nodded amused by what I'm saying

"To be honest I kinda miss her, I haven't seen her in a while" I said looking down again

I felt Vik tensed up a bit before asking me "your parents are separated...?" He asked softly

I nodded "yeah, but it's alright"

I took a breath "They've been separated for 4 years now, she's lives in Italy at the moment working there as a fashion designer which I consider good I guess"

"So it's just you, your dad and your brother?" He asked slowly and I nodded

"The problem is me and my dad don't get along all the time" I said playing with the straw of my drink

"Can I ask why?"

I looked up at him and notice he had curiosity written on his face. "We had a fight back then when he was with my mum before the divorce"

"It's for reason that honestly I can't tell you, not right now" I said softly and he nodded understanding me

"So let's talk about you" I said cheering up a bit and he bit his burger "me?" He said mouthful making me laugh

"Yes, and eat while your mouth is shut can you?" I said smiling and he wiped his mouth with a tissue and mumbled "sorry"

I chuckled "well my parents and my brothers live back in Sheffield and I was born there as well, sometimes from time to time I go visit and catch up with them" he said

"I'll be honest I never been to Sheffield before" I said shrugging my shoulders a bit and he turn to me raising his eyebrows in surprise "you haven't?"

I shook my head "nope, didn't have the time to travel around England"

"Maybe one day I could take you there" he said smiling making me smile back

"Maybe.." I replied before we continue eating our food again
