Chapter 5 - Caught Lying

Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick..

The sound of the clock ticking away is getting on my nerves !

I'm on my bed laying down with my phone in my hands because I can't sleep, there have been too many questions in my head that needs to be answered.

I sighed standing up from the bed and went downstairs to the living room seeing Tobi and Simon doing a video of Fifa challenge. as always...

They both cheered as they scored a goal after like a minute or so, soon enough they wrapped up the video

Tobi turned to me "didn't notice you there Vik, how long you've been there?" He asked

"Just a few minutes" I said sitting on the couch

"You alright Vik?" Simon asked looking at me

"Taking a little break from Recording" I faked a laugh

"It's afternoon, do you guys want to go out and eat? Perhaps nandos?" Tobi asked grinning

"Yeah sure let me go call Josh and JJ to see if they want to join us" Simon said standing up going out of the room

"Simon told me you gone out yesterday night with rob?" Tobi said after Simon left

I nodded "yeah he was in town and I thought why not" I shrugged

"Vik why are you lying?" He asked

I turn to him a little bit shocked "w-what?" I stuttered

"Rob tweeted yesterday he was with his family in Canada" he crossed his arms raising his eyebrow at me

Fuck. Well there goes my lie

"Look. Tobi it's a long story, I don't need the guys to think I'm moving on or something"

"Moving on? What?"

Before I could say anything Simon came "they both agreed and they're coming down, come on let's go" he said

I stood up before Tobi leaving the room before he could ask more questions

I wore my shoes and shout "I'll be in the car!" I opened the door and unlock the car, after a bit the guys came and got in the car as well

Josh is driving, while I'm in the passenger seat and the rest are in the back

I can't even face Tobi without feeling that I'll get a lot of questions from him.

"We're here" Josh said as we got out and walked over to it

"good afternoon" a waiter smiled at us as she helped us get to a table, she gave us our menu's and left us to choose

The door opened again and a brown haired girl came through

Really?

My eyes followed every move that she walked when I noticed she's with a guy and a girl

The guy had blonde hair and his eyes were covered behind the glasses, he was wearing a white shirt and black skinny jeans.

While the girl she was a red head, her hair was in a messy bun and she was wearing a dark green blouse and a grey skinny jeans.

And her? She was wearing a stripped shirt and a black skinny jeans different then yesterday and a dark blue jeans jacket and her hair was in a long ponytail

"Vik. Vik!" I ripped my eyes from them and turned my head to JJ and saw the guys were staring at me "hm?"

"What do you want?" Josh asked, I looked up to see the waiter was holding a notepad and a pen waiting for me to order

"The usual Peri peri chicken" I said and she wrote down my order and left

"You were zoned out. what's up with you lately?" Simon asked

I shook my head and saw Alex getting up and going somewhere "I'll be back" I said getting up from my chair and follow her, leaving the guys confused

She was going to the back where it was for employees only, I looked around what the fuck? Where did she disappeared to? And what is she doing here?

"Looking for me?" I jumped and turn around to see Alex crossing her arms and smirk at me

"Jeez don't do that" I said putting a hand on my heart

She raised her eyebrow and tilt her head "what're you doing here?"

"I could say the same thing about you" I said resting both of my arms behind me on the table

"I'm here with my friends"

"So am I" I stared at her and she chuckled

"3 days in a row, you seem to be addicted to me" I said jokily

She smirked again "ha, says you"

"Anyways I better head back before my friends notice I've taken a while" she said

"What were you doing back here anyways?" I asked looking around

"I was trying to go back to my car to get my phone and I did" she took her phone out showing it to me

"By going out the back door?" I asked

"It was the closest to it, I didn't want to walk a long while" she said shrugging

I laughed "you're being lazy"

"Well I'm hungry I want to get to my food quicker" she said smiling

She turn her head around the corner "you should go too, your friends seem to be a little worried about you" she said

I pressed my lips "yeah I just bail out on them suddenly"

"Nice talking to you again Vik" she smiled and walked backwards, pointing back "I'll go now" and turn around walking back to her table

When she left I turn to the back door and opened it seeing it was an empty road, no cars.

Is she lying?

Vik got caught with his lie about he was going out with, and Alex is lying about something? What could it be I wonder?

Q: why did she lie about getting to her car just to get her phone?
